He should be able to take initiative as well as handing it over when he has tried his best. Finally, the person that I meet should have a love for family and a zest for life! I rather think of it as a "first meeting" and not a "first date". The word "date" puts a lot of added stress and pressure on both parties, for no good reason. Just go, be yourself and meet someone new. With that being said, the "first meeting";meet and greet" over a cup of coffee, a drink, maybe a game of bowling or something fun and silly. Basically anywhere that we can chat and get to know each other.......
