Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. Getting to know someone by reading a few choice words can never compare to meeting in person but here we are. So, here we go. *smiles*After marriage, children, divorce, running a business and raising teenagers I have learned many things about myself. Mostly, that I am tenacious and that I don’t give in easily. I have learned that keeping balance in all areas of my life is a great goal and one that I strive for on a daily basis. I have also learned that it is ok if I let some things go. Sometimes there is serenity in not having constant balance.My absolute favorite thing to do is anything in the mountains. It does not matter if I am hiking, walking, exploring or just sitting with my journal. I feel such a connection to that which is greater than me when I am surrounded by trees and mountain air. Taking time to quiet my mind allows me to hear the wisdom from within.I love music. Especially live music and small venues. My taste is pretty diverse and I will listen to just about anything from Classical and Jazz to Rock. My main musical focus however is rock, and you will find me listening to anything from 70’s to current metal. (My daughters also love music and often we can be found singing loudly together.)I believe that your health is your only true wealth and I have a daily practice of yoga, meditation and exercise. I do my best to stay away from junk food (unless its chocolate and then I give in 100% of the time) and almost never eat fast food.I am a believer in the law of attraction and that we get to choose how our days go. I can’t remember that last time I had a bad day. Even when I receive news that some would see as negative, I do my best to make the adjustments that need to be made and move forward. (and yes, sometimes that is a struggle, but that is all the reason I need to fight on) In doing this, I grow and learn and the experience becomes positive. I love being present at the beginning of the day and witnessing the world wake. The second most magical time is the sunset. A beautiful end to a day fulfilled. I love moongazing and stargazing. I have a thousands of pictures of the sky and various hikes. I belong to a drum circle, am interning for my level 2 in Reiki,. I am researching and planning what steps I need to take to become certified as a life coach. I have a great life, and I have no complaints. Finding a partner would just be an added bonus. But if all I find here is friends, then my life will still be enriched.So,... here is a glimmer of insight of who I am.     HelloI never know what to when asked to describe myself, so here goes nothing.. I'm a single mom of a 13yr old daughter and grandmother of 2 absolutely adorable monsters and great aunt to I don't know how many. I'm family oriented, love my kids dearly and will do anything for them. I am fun to be around, have a dry sense of humor. I love to laugh. My tastes vary depending on what appeals to me at the time.I enjoy hanging out at home with family and friends, cooking, bbq's, camping, fishing, snuggling on the couch watching a movie, going to the ocean and getting crazy with go karts, road trips with no set destination, going to the mountains and playing in the snow, window shopping in historic areas, daydreaming, stargazing, thick comfy socks, soft flannel shirts, being held for no reason other than just because, watching football or baseball on TV or at the stadium. Soccer has to be watched live on the field. I love a good argument that has a valid point. A equal exchange of beliefs and opinions. The kind of man that I see myself with is a kind, gentle man. Supportive, faithful, generous, loving, enjoys holding hands, soft kisses. Someone who would be my best friend, lover, and keeper of my heart. A man that I can talk to, who respects my opinions and beliefs. The first date is easy for me to say.. Coffee at a local place.. That way if we get along we can go out for lunch or dinner.. Nothing stressful.. Just lowkey...
