I love to be outside!! I am happiest in the mountains skiing, biking, hiking, etc.. Im up for any kind of adventure. Best thing I ever did! Ski patrol was on my bucket list...so I took leave from my real job for a winter and patrolled at Snowbasin. If you give piggy back rides, you think throwing a frisbee in the park is fun while shopping makes you want to chew tinfoil, then we will get along fine!I love people. Im a happy go lucky girl! If you are critical, self centered,or tightly wound, we would be a poor match. Genuineness is hugely important to me. Id much rather be happy and leave the games and drama to the other girls. :) Lastly, kindness is key. Im looking for a man who pushes himself every day to grow mentally, emotionally and physically, and is more interested in overcoming his problems than finding someone to blame for them.     I never would have thought that finding someone to share my life with would be so hard. After being married at age 18 of course that seemed to come quickly and it lasted for 20 years. It never crossed my mind that I would need to go through this process, but here I am on a dating website! I am sure no one wants to be looking for someone this way but at the same time it is an option. The way I look at it is that you might come across someone just perfect for you that you'd never meet any other way...So I am here hoping that is what happens. :-)I moved to LA about 5 years ago to start over. I had always wanted to live here so I took a leap of faith, packed up the U- I've met some of the best friends I have ever had! All of my daughters ***moved down here one at a time and so it means a lot to me to be able to spend time with them. Looking forward to being a grandma one day although that isn't on the table just yet. I believe family is your greatest asset in life and there is nothing more important. I am a small business owner and my business has done better and better each year. I feel stable and secure and that is a great feeling. I have a broad range of interests which include;Soccer (LA Galaxy Fan), Hockey (Sharks Fan)...but hey! :-), Baseball (Angel's Fan) Yes! I realize that doesn't make me popular in these parts! Heh! Basketball (Lakers of course), Football...I really love going to USC games. They are a ton of fun! I love tons of different music and there is nothing better than seeing a live band if they are any good at all. It doesn't have to be a headliner. Just being out and hearing the *** a blast! I personally love to sing although I don't do it as much as I used to. I just got into scuba diving so I am no pro but I love being in the water. Whether it is swimming, boating, scuba, snorkeling, jet skis, or even parasailing...fishing is also fun but its been years. I like to spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy traveling although I am the type who loves coming home as much as leaving to go somewhere. Something about being in your own space that makes you feel good. My next planned trip is to the Azore Islands of Portugal. Many of my ancestors came from those islands. So yes I am a proud Portuguese woman! :-) I am also Italian. I love cooking, (pretty decent at it or so I hear), gardening (flower fanatic), reading, movies, walking on the beach, going to try new restaurants, writing ( trying to write a book although it seems to be taking me a lifetime!) ;- He is the best companion ever! I am a total dog person! I love personal improvement and I think I will be working on me forever but that's ok. I am not perfect but like a fine wine that gets better with time. Hey! That's what I think anyway! Heh Heh...I am down to earth and one of the most genuine people you might meet. I am who I say I am and I don't pull any punches. Life is too short to create situations that either frustrate or hurt other people. Not something I am in to and I hope you aren't either. I do believe in God and so if you are agnostic that is one thing but if you are an atheist I am not interested. I don't want to go through life trying to defend my beliefs to anyone. I am happy with the life that I have created and so when I find that right person I know he will be someone who adds more joy to an already great life. I am not in a hurry and I am living proof that yes you can be single and survive just fine. However, finding someone to love and cherish and share my life with would make things even better so...I am open and ready to see who walks into my life. Will it be you?
