I am a former Chef, so needless to say, I already have a relationship with food. Pending the right guy comes along, I am able to put my food relationship to the side unless, even better, you would like to join us! As much as I enjoy cooking, I also love to get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner, grab some tacos and a beer at one of the many great Taqueria's in the area or make some gourmet sandwiches to take to the beach.Though a rocker at heart, I like many types of music from rap to country. I probably know every lyric and have no problem singing it to you, just don't ask me the title or artist... that will have to be your job. I try to be a little edgy with my style. I think it keeps things interesting and fun. I am a single mother of 3 boys so I am not always allowed spontaneity. I put forth the effort and make the time to meet someone new, so all I ask is a respect for that time as I would respect yours. Quite honestly I would like to go out on dates and perhaps do things you or I or both of us have never experienced. What better way to get to know someone? It would be nice if the dating turned into something serious eventually, but I'm in no rush and I will certainly not settle for anything less than I deserve.Please have a sense of humor and don't judge me until you know me...and even then, you should maybe think twice. I don't think too highly of marriages either.I don't like soda. I like wine.I'm health-conscious and semi-vegetarian, but "I stay a bit overweight because it wouldn't be fair to all the skinny people if I were this attractive, intelligent, funny AND thin. It's a public service really."Other things you'll want to know: My 8-year-old son is with me three nights/week. I have a life and a big, spacious heart the other four nights/week. He has a wonderful father and I'm not looking for someone to take over that role.I have two dogs (the one in the pic is not mine) and two cats. If you have allergies, well, obviously you should consider whether you want to spend the rest of your life on Claritin before contacting me, because I can't imagine myself being happy without pets. Let's just go someplace quiet on say a Wednesday night for a good meal and craft ale. If you just want to meet over a coffee first, that's fine, I just don't consider that a "date".
