Dating should be fun, right? I don't know why we all make this so damn hard. People should just TRUTHFULLY break basic things down...it doesn't always have to be a game. So let's clarify a few things. First...the fact that my status does not say I am falling all over myself to meet some man and settle down and make babies does NOT mean I am looking for kinky secret sex. Don't message me asking for hookups. Second...NO, I don't want to see your penis!! They're usually ugly anyhow. Ick. Third...PLEASE...no one under 30. The necessary stuff: I am a mother of 3 older children...one has autism. Autism is a **** but it hasn't killed me yet. If a man can deal with Autism, big points with me. BIG points. My kids have a FANTASTIC and very involved father so I'm not looking for anyone to raise them...but being nice to them is necessary. Because I have three kids, I am not looking for any more. That does not mean I don't want to date someone with kids...I LOVE kids. That means I don't want a GROWN 40 yr old child. Easy enough, right?A little about me: I am a fun person. I'm always told that I am a funny person. I enjoy a good time. I enjoy camping and spending time outdoors. Lately I have had the urge to get out and hike so if you like that...even better!!! Get my butt out there and let's HIKE! I like to listen to local bands and I love concerts. Love to travel? I'm your girl!!! I have a bucket list of places I want to go. As much as I can be a real sweetheart....I can also be a serious pain in the ass sometimes because I am very independent. I make my own money and I take care of myself so I don't need a "daddy" to watch over me. As you can probably tell, I am outspoken. I have never had a problem telling someone what I think. I am tall, blonde, blue eyes...I won't lie...I could lose weight. I am working on it but I'm not going to stress over it. I would rather be healthy and strong before anything else. I am attractive but you should probably not be bothered by "bigger girls" if you want to spend time with me. I have a big ass...ya better be an ass man. What I'm looking for:Honesty (dear God, HONESTY), someone with a work ethic that doesn't want to be saved...I don't want your money but I'm not EVER giving mine away again. Someone that can have a conversation that doesn't always revolve around his "glory days". I like a good trip down memory lane as much as the next person....but if you're living there...not for me. I like to do many different things such as walking my dogs, hitting the gym, going to football & baseball games, festivals, ice skating, camping & traveling. I also enjoy movies, comedy clubs, live music and going downtown. I like to dance occasionally but am not someone who has to be on the go all the time or entertained. I like staying in with good books/movies and good company! I am definitley a "news junkie" as far as tv goes but I will admit that I've gotten pulled into a few reality shows. I have also always wanted to visit a Vineyard. Swimming in the ocean and snorkeling is something I could do every day! There's really not much I won't try as long as it's legal lol, I just got back from Cancun where I did zip lining upside down.; Going to Yankee Stadium is something I am hoping to do this summer/fall because yes I am a huge Yankee fan.........it runs in my family.%. I have a small family but I am close with some of them that live near me and I have wonderful friends that I am thankful for. My music taste varies. I have always been passionate about music as I played the piano and sax when I was younger, I love the theater too!I like cooking on holidays and weekends. Seafood, Mexican and Polish are my favorite foods but I try to eat pretty healthy. I love Halloween parties and still will dress up. My friends say I am big hearted, dependable, a great listener/problem solver and that they are happy to know me (that was on a birthday card I got this year!). I have always been a good judge of character and have a good head on my shoulders. I am financially responsible and have worked for all I have. Generally I would say I am a pretty optimistic person, you never know what the future holds and never say never. I am basically hoping to find someone that I have a great time with and also that I am attracted to. I am looking for a well rounded, intelligent, sercure, confident, sociable man who is strong but not insensitive. I would like someone who is happy with life in general and ready to experience things with that someone special. I haven't put too much effort in a while into dating as I've just been doing my own thing and enjoying life but I definitley think it can be better with a partner in crime. My "Match" needs to know how to have fun and be flexible/open minded when it comes to making plans. I believe a lasting relationship needs to contain a mutual respect and support of one another. The most important thing in a functional relationship is for both people to be themselves. I'm sure the competition/selection is high on both ends but I do believe that all good things come to those who wait, however I don't believe in e-mailing too long before meeting. I am not looking for someone with an overly needy personality or a man that wants to be a life long serial dater. I am looking to start slow and see where things go.
