I'm Camille.I guess this is the part where I tell you my life story...I'll point out that my dating skills are so rusty they probably need a little WD-40. You've been warned.I was married for 4 years. Went into it thinking I'd be married for the rest of my life like most people do...well, probably not like the ones married in a Vegas drive-thru during a drunken stupor. But hey, maybe they're very happy together. I'm not one to judge. I'm also not one to settle, and I've never been the type that needs to be in a relationship in order to avoid being alone. Never been much of a dater either, but I thought I'd give this a try. I don't care to play dating games. The only games I enjoy are arcade games...boardgames and laser-tag are also fun.I'm very straight-forward and like to confront things. Don't like to beat around the bush...although I've never actually seen anyone use a weapon around, next to, or in the vicinity of a bush. I'm terribly sarcastic..sometimes I like to describe it as "violently sarcastic", and I appreciate come-backs that are laced with equal amounts of sarcasm. I find a quick wit and a good sense of humor very pleasing. I'm easily amused and will laugh at pretty much anything. It's true. I can't help it. Corny jokes and stupid magic tricks included.I randomly break into a fake English accent-I lived there for a year. It amuses people, but mostly me. I don't even notice I do it sometimes, but I'll warn you that it's highly contagious!I'm very friendly and outgoing, and I'll talk to almost anyone. Random people tend to approach me and tell me things...I'm talking deep, personal details I don't ask for, or really even want to know. It's kind of a running joke in my family, but I take it as a compliment.I've never fit into one category...I'm a nerd and like sci-fi and techie stuff, but I'm also artistic and creative. Even opened a home business where I sell my crafts online. Sadly, I never developed a skill for musical ***, although I did play the recorder in 4th grade and I wasn't half bad. That's a bit of a lie, I was horrible. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty and do "guy stuff" (even have my own nifty tool box with REAL tools). It's amazing, I know. I'm also girlie, like to dress up occasionally, always feel like a woman and be protected by my partner. Unlike most women though, I'm not a big shopper and I avoid malls at all costs...they give me headaches.I'm not a model, a stick-figure or anorexic. I'm Latin and I'm curvy. While I'm fully aware that there's always room for improvement, I'm very comfortable in my skin and I like who I am. If I don't know something, I ask. I'm not afraid to look stupid and I'm always willing to be taught. If I don't know how to do something, I'll learn, and I'll try until I get it. If I can't get it, I'm ok with the fact that at least I tried my best. I love what I do and I've worked really hard to get where I am, but I also like to enjoy my time off.The kind of job someone has, what car they drive or how much money they make doesn't interest me. What's important to me is that they're happy with what they're doing, are driven, ambitious and have goals for themselves. Don't care for the lean-back-and-kick-your-feet-up mentality when it comes to life. Definitely want someone who's motivated.I'm essentially looking for someone that I can have fun with, even while doing nothing. Someone who thinks of a relationship as a team and believes their partner/family should be their first priority.Not necessarily looking to jump into another marriage, but definitely not interested in casual flings, professional party-ers or players (unless we're talking about sports). Theme Park, anything outdoors, cooking class, comedy club, a park, hot air balloon ride, or even a picnic lunch. The typical dinner date isn't a bad option, but I think you learn more about someone when you're actively doing things together.

    I am someone that is active and likes to live life to the fullest and I would like to meet someone the same attitude.     My life is full in many ways, and I feel so fortunate. I know what I want in a relationship, and I have time and space for someone special as well. I think it will happen when the time/person is right, I’m not sure it will be on a dating sight, but I’m willing to try. Here goes....I am a generally happy person, and love to laugh and have fun. I tend to be sarcastic. I can usually look at the bright side of most situations, and believe that failure is an opportunity to learn. I love my children and they are my life. My family is very close, and even though we don’t all live near each other, we stay in touch and see each other often. There is nothing and will never be anything more important to me than family. I have a good relationship with my children’s father, and am committed to parenting them well together. Over the past couple of years though, I have re-discovered how important it also is to spend time doing other things for myself that I love as well. Working out, being outdoors, and music are at the top of my list. Challenging myself to continue building my strength and endurance is something I am very committed to. I love being outdoors year round. Hiking, swimming, and trail running are some of my favorite outdoor activities. I have always loved to cook, and eating healthy is also an important part of my life. I am a huge fan of live music and music festivals. My musical interests are really diverse, there is not much I don’t like, it really depends on my mood and what I am engaged in. I spent the majority of my life traveling and love to visit new places, especially anywhere near the ocean. I’m also content now with living and raising my kids in a close knit community, which was one of the downsides of the way I grew up. I wouldn’t trade anything about my childhood and what I got to experience however, it really was the best for me. I enjoy spending time at home when I have down time, and love to garden and work on home projects. Campfires make me really happy, and we have them frequently. Sitting around a fire with good music is one of my favorite ways to relax. Things I also like but haven’t done as much recently include camping, boating, and fishing. My work is also a big part of who I am, and I am very committed to it. I manage a large social service program, it is challenging and someday’s exhausting, but I believe that what we do makes a difference and love the people I work with. I am very liberal politically, and believe that people should have the right to make decisions about their body and life, as well as who they love and chose to marry. I am looking for someone who lives a healthy lifestyle, is energetic and adventurous. Loving the outdoors, especially the water, are also important. I imagine that the right person is also a parent and understands the love and commitment that comes with children. It would be nice to meet someone with similar interests, though I’m always willing to expand my mine as well. I enjoy getting to know new people and at the same time, I know what I am looking for, and I am not interested games or drama.
