I am a driven, goal-oriented person. I love to interact with other people, and making others smile. I always try to look at the glass as ***full, even when it's very hard to do. Events in life have knocked me down a lot, but I feel I have come back a stronger person and feel things happen for a reason and we should use those "misfortunes" to motivate us. I'm a very simple person to make happy...just show me loyalty, respect, honesty, communication and treat me like I'm an equal and not a servant and I'm happy. I'm over the liars an cheaters...so if you are on the rebound or are in a relationship...I am NOT interested. I love to learn, and take advantage of being able to go to school, I never want to stop trying to better myself. I like to have cookouts, take walks, working out and being healthy are very important, but I am not the least bit interested in someone who is a "meat head"...been there, done that, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I just want to have fun, find someone to have fun with and enjoy this life we have been given. I was stationed there for over 7 years, and I hated leaving it. The weather, beach, attractions and history of it really made it a great place to be. I am looking for someone in their 30's or very early 40's, mature without acting like my dad or thinks fun is for kids, also someone who is driven an has a good head on their shoulders. So hopefully you like that kind of stuff :-) Honestly, as long as it's not the typical movie where you sit there in silence for 2 hours next to someone you don't know, I'm good with it :) I'll go skydiving, bungee jumping, coffee, amusement park...just not a movie lol

    This may not be good advertising, but I'm just a straight-forward, average single working mom. I don't pretend to be something I'm not, so basically "what you see is what you get." Bored yet? :) Sorry, I just don't like trying to hype up my life when really it's just pretty typical. I do think I'm a lot of fun though, have a great sense of humor, love hanging out with friends, being outside with my kids (especially the beach), reading, going to a movie or a museum, or sometimes it's nice just to watch TV and do nothing. I like Asian, Italian, and good old American food. But I don't have a favorite local college team -My 2 children (ages 5 and ***live with me all but a few weeks here and there and certainly keep me on my toes, but I'd never have it any other way.I'm looking for a physically fit or average-build guy (age ***who's witty, somewhat sarcastic (but not hurtful), has a goofy side, intelligent, open minded, can keep a conversation going, and who shares some of my same interests. Not a deal-breaker, but I'd like someone who was married for longer than about 5 years but has been divorced long enough that you and your ex have pretty much buried the hatchet - or maybe there was no hatchet to begin with and things ended civilly (yes, there is a reason for that but don't need to get in to that here). So send me a message, but if your profile pic is you in front of your mirror with your shirt off flexing your "guns", don't be offended if I don't answer! :) I think the first date should be at a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere - nothing fancy but not Applebees either! It should be a place that's not too noisy so we don't have to shout to be heard and should have a diverse menu, so both of us can find something we like. With busy schedules, a lunch date or coffee might work out better than dinner, and that's just fine with me!
