Looking for my teammate in life and a good ol' country fella! My partner, the person that makes me laugh, the person that I can talk to/vent to/say what's on my mind, someone that will try to understand, someone that will share their thoughts, someone that isn't afraid to wear their heart on their sleeve, just a good guy....with a little edge. I am a professional, educated, independent and out going person. My friends tell me that I am the "glue" that keeps us all together. I have 2 cats that are like my kids. I have no kids, but love them and they seem to love me in return. I have a god-daughter that is 15 and I love spending as much time as possible with her! I'm very straight forward with my opinions, likes and dislikes and respect someone that can give me the same in return. I'm the kind of person that would rather chat than watch a movie, but can also enjoy a cozy Blockbuster night. I enjoy hanging out with friends whether it be at home, at a bar watching a game, camping or just hanging out. I'm a bit of a social butterfly, but my clubbin' days are over. I haven't experienced as many things in life that I would like to, but I'm definitely an adventurous person who is game to do almost anything (sky diving, hot air balloon ride, snorkling, the possibilities are endless). Also, I'm a reality show junkie! I'm looking for someone that is as out going as I am, but will give me special attention in a group setting. Conversation is important to me, as well as honesty and chivalry. I need a man that is not afraid of committment and someone who can tell me what's on their mind. I want someone that I can take home to mom and know that he would be comfortable there and would offer to do things for her if necessary. There aren't enough "handy" men these days, but that is such a turn on to me! Someone that has his life in order - you know - a job, a vehicle, a place to lay his head at night and no baggage.     I am a driven, goal-oriented person. I love to interact with other people, and making others smile. I always try to look at the glass as ***full, even when it's very hard to do. Events in life have knocked me down a lot, but I feel I have come back a stronger person and feel things happen for a reason and we should use those "misfortunes" to motivate us. The weather, beach, attractions and history of it really made it a great place to be. I am looking for someone in their 30's or very early 40's, mature without acting like my dad or thinks fun is for kids, also someone who is driven an has a good head on their shoulders. So hopefully you like that kind of stuff :-) Honestly, as long as it's not the typical movie where you sit there in silence for 2 hours next to someone you don't know, I'm good with it :) I'll go skydiving, bungee jumping, coffee, amusement park...just not a movie lol
