I am a driven, goal-oriented person. I love to interact with other people, and making others smile. I always try to look at the glass as ***full, even when it's very hard to do. Events in life have knocked me down a lot, but I feel I have come back a stronger person and feel things happen for a reason and we should use those "misfortunes" to motivate us. I just want to have fun, find someone to have fun with and enjoy this life we have been given. I was stationed there for over 7 years, and I hated leaving it. The weather, beach, attractions and history of it really made it a great place to be. I am looking for someone in their 30's or very early 40's, mature without acting like my dad or thinks fun is for kids, also someone who is driven an has a good head on their shoulders. So hopefully you like that kind of stuff :-) Honestly, as long as it's not the typical movie where you sit there in silence for 2 hours next to someone you don't know, I'm good with it :) I'll go skydiving, bungee jumping, coffee, amusement park...just not a movie lol

I am a single parent, one child. He is the single most important thing in my life. I am loyal, caring, honest (sometimes brutally), and funny. I truly believe how a person feels is theirs to own. And no one has the right to say whether that's right or wrong. I also don't think everything needs to be in a tidy, perfect little box. I'm unconventional, and can handle situations most people couldn't. But I need to know what a situation is first. Dishonesty doesn't accomplish that. And doesn't fly with me in the least. That being said, I'm not all serious, all the time. I love to laugh and be silly and playful. I expect lots of affection, and give the same. I like to let my hair down, wear flip flops, have my toes in the grass, drive around with the windows down/radio up, not stress the everyday stuff...bc we ALL have it. Commercials sometimes make me cry. Not the sad, dogs-need-a-home ones. The sweet or silly touching ones. I'm tough when I need to be (which is most of the time), but I'm tender and genuine. Somewhere we can enjoy each other's company (without pressure) and get to know each other. But don't expect to send a msg and meet me the next day. I'm worth the wait.
