Other times it's spent biking or outside activities with my son or the occasional P90X attempt at home and by occasional I mean I put the DVD in and remember why I put it back in the box to begin with. There is also the occasional sprint after the 4 year old that decides to yank cookies from the pantry when I'm not looking...or the dog that steals the chicken and makes a break for it, but she doesn't get far since she's blind so I'm at the advantage! I tend to eat on the healthier side during the week leaving weekends for the good eats (not that lettuce isn't good, but who are we kidding)? I enjoy cooking for friends and family on weekends and holidays and love spending time in the kitchen. So if you're still reading this after all that...I'd love to hear from you! Hum, first date? Well, I must admit that I am new to this and it's been a long while since I've been on a date so I don't even know if the same 'rules' apply. I'm pretty simple and think a great first date would be dinner and a movie or even something like go-kart racing. I'm really looking to get to know someone on a first date, so opportunities for light conversation is always welcome!

I am a driven, goal-oriented person. I love to interact with other people, and making others smile. I always try to look at the glass as ***full, even when it's very hard to do. Events in life have knocked me down a lot, but I feel I have come back a stronger person and feel things happen for a reason and we should use those "misfortunes" to motivate us. I'm a very simple person to make happy...just show me loyalty, respect, honesty, communication and treat me like I'm an equal and not a servant and I'm happy. I love to learn, and take advantage of being able to go to school, I never want to stop trying to better myself. I like to have cookouts, take walks, working out and being healthy are very important, but I am not the least bit interested in someone who is a "meat head"...been there, done that, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I just want to have fun, find someone to have fun with and enjoy this life we have been given. I was stationed there for over 7 years, and I hated leaving it. The weather, beach, attractions and history of it really made it a great place to be. I am looking for someone in their 30's or very early 40's, mature without acting like my dad or thinks fun is for kids, also someone who is driven an has a good head on their shoulders. So hopefully you like that kind of stuff :-) Honestly, as long as it's not the typical movie where you sit there in silence for 2 hours next to someone you don't know, I'm good with it :) I'll go skydiving, bungee jumping, coffee, amusement park...just not a movie lol
