I like to cook and play tennis - not at the same time of course. To me there's nothing better than cooking a great meal, it really relaxes me. Sometimes I end up chopping and slicing for hours, the same happens on the tennis court...he he he.Those are two of my passions, but no worries I have many others, see below. In general I'm outgoing, have a black belt in sarcasm (which has gotten me into trouble in the past, OY) and I keep myself on my toes. ;)But seriously I'm pretty easy going and like to joke around, but I'm also very affectionate, caring and loving. The usual drinks/ dinner to see if there's chemistry, then we could proceed with something spontaneous. I love dates where we just go with the flow and end up doing something we both enjoy. How about sightseeing in the rain? Or slow dancing at a rock concert? Bowling during senior's night? The options are endless...

"" I don’t like most guys, but I am not interested in most guys. Perhaps that's what makes those few unique individuals who I do connect with more special. Myself – restless, analytical, and opinionated. I am not offended by a dirty joke and can dish out one of my own. I am independent but far from being a feminist. Sarcasm is a spice of life, so bring it on. I am a proud mother of two amazing young girls. Ironically, these girls keep me grounded and adventurous. I love the ocean; hate the beach. Give me a balcony overlooking it any day. I enjoy reading, but for right now I read books that don't require too much thought or feeling. I do enough of that during the day. I have a career which provides long-term stability. I'm not looking for someone to support me or my children. I can offer a lifetime of devotion, a shoulder to lean on, and someone who will hold you at night. Let's be honest, we are all on here for the same reason and we are seeking the kind of chemistry that happens when you spend quality time face to face. If we're not a match then we respectfully move on. It's ok to say, "I'm not interested." My biggest pet peeve is a man who can't tell it like it is. You should message me if: you think that your already-pretty-good-life is better when shared with someone, andyou're ready to find that someone now-ish.you're as likely (and happy) to spend Sunday lazing in bed as you are enjoying the outdoors. you have brains, humor, and challenging repartee. you want to teach me how to sail. you are spunky and self-confident (not narcissistic).you have resilience, strength of character, and a willingness to learn and be taught (humility). you have been through some sh*t in life and pushed through it (I am not going to make your lemonade for you).you can spell, and are generally happy. The rest is negotiable. Don't bother messaging me if:you are looking for a quick hook-up; you are going to text message for days about nonsense.you are serial-first dater and looking for nothing more. This should be titled "Initial Meeting" not first date. Let's save that for when we really connect. In the mean time, we can meet for drinks and take it from there.

Well let's see...I'm definitely a "glass half full" kind of gal...it takes a lot to bring me down. I love hugs, I've got a great sense of humor, and I don't waste any time dwelling in the past, except to learn from it. I'm honest, probably to a fault, and I think trust and respect are the most important things in a relationship. I'm not afraid to try new things and I always try to keep an open mind.I love sitting on my porch in a thunderstorm and watching the sun set on another beautiful day. (This is starting to sound sappy!) I enjoy all kinds of music and can carry a fair tune. I'm a great dancer (in the car) and would like to find someone who dances along with me. Old people and children have a special places in my heart, I drive too fast, (usually because I'm always late), and shopping is for the birds! But most of all, I'm very proud of my two children. Being their mom is the best job ever and I'm a better person for it! I was married for 19 years so I don't even know what a date should look like anymore! I suppose dinner is a good place to start and then our mutual interests can take us from there!
