This is the part that I hate, having to tell someone that I've never met all about me. I'd much rather hear them tell me their own story. I have discovered that having money doesn't make one any happier than the rest of the world, but in fact it can leave you longing for even more. I would much rather have "just enough" in life to meet my needs on a daily basis than to have an endless supply and thinking that I always need to have the latest gadget in life to satisfy me. What is it that I am looking for, you ask? Most important of all, I desire probably the same thing that the majority of other women want in a man: honesty, faithfulness, companionship, a solid work ethic, etc. However, there are those nice little traits that I somehow seem to gravitate towards that would be the "icing on the cake" for me, but not totally necessary to possess. For ***, I am mesmerized by a man who engages me in intellectual conversations, is handy with his hands and who is physically strong, yet soft and tender when he holds me in his arms. I appreciate someone who is not afraid to speak their mind and tell me how they feel, someone who isn't passive but assertive. And, though it may sound as if I am looking for a man of steel, who never crumbles when a challenging life circumstance comes into his view, nothing could be further from the truth. There is something downright sexy about a man who's not afraid to show me all of his emotions, whether that might be sadness, joy, confusion, fear or even anger. When it comes right down to it, I'm looking for someone who is not afraid to show me who they really are inside. Let's keep it short and sweet by meeting up at a coffeehouse, a small café, or even at a public park.

I was recently layed off after six years and one day at the same company and just started a new job at the end of September. I want to get to know someone and that is just uncomfortable and inappropriate for a first date! Otherwise... surprise me! I like trying new things... as long as it is somewhere in public.
