About Me

I especially like all of the parks, rivers and outdoor activities. I am divorced with no children but I do look forward to having a family.... hopefully sooner rather than later.I spend my free time with friends or family. I like to kayak, camp, rock climb, dance, watch movies, listen to music and play/work on the computer. I love to travel and am open to trying new things. I've been sky diving and can't wait to do it again. Now that I've crossed that off the list, my next goal is to learn to scuba dive.First and foremost, I am looking for a relationship and will not spend a lot of time or effort on someone that isn't seeking to establish a long term, committed relationship or someone that doesn't want to have a family. That said, I am not looking to be with just anyone. I hope to find someone that shares some common interests, is kind, intelligent, willing to communicate and that I can have fun with. I prefer intelligent, professional men. A job and a car are a must. Race is not important but I do not date thugs or players.     I haven't jumped out of airplanes or climbed mountains (yet), but I think my life is a wonderful adventure because I am lucky enough to be Mom to four terrific kids- ages 20, 16, 15, and 8. I was married for 20 years. The last time I was dating, it was all done by passing a note in homeroom. I teach fifth-grade special education math and love it! My students are wonderful and we have so much fun. I'm not sure if this is what I will do forever, but it is the perfect job for me at this point in my life.I love cooking (just not every day), hiking, movies (a DVD or a night out) and finding some quiet time to read. New Zealand, India and most of Europe top my list of places I want to go. I would love to make some new friends and maybe find someone who is easy-going and makes me laugh to join me on my adventures.
