Let me just start with what I am looking for. I am pretty much an open book and open to meeting people. After doing some of this online dating stuff on and off for the last year, I have learned some things I want and I don’t want (I am sorry if any of this offends anyone, but I don’t want to give anyone a false sense of what I am interested in):1. I want someone who has an open mind when it comes to religion. If religion is a driving factor in your life, you are probably not the person for me.2. I love good conversation.3. I have teenagers. If you have young kids, I have been there and done that. I am all about spending time with kids (as I am very fond of mine...lol), but dating requires getting to know each other before getting to know the kids, so if finding child care for your young child is going to be difficult, then you may not be the right person for me.4. Again, I have two teenagers; I am not looking to have any more. If you want a baby, look elsewhere.5. Also, my kids have a dad. I am not looking to fill that role for them and I do not plan on filling a mommy role for yours.6. I have A LOT of male friends. If you are insecure and have trust issues, this may not be the relationship for you. I have never cheated in a relationship and I won’t cheat on you. 7. I am FAR from high maintenance, but if you can not invest your time and some finances in dating, I may not be your girl. I don’t need expensive dinners or gifts, but I do like doing things from time to time.8. I am independent. I have a good job and do not need someone to take care of me financially.9. I am looking for a guy to start as a friend and see where we go from there. I want someone to spend time with. 10. I am not looking for a hook up. I like to date, but I want more than just a casual fling.If you are still with me, then continue reading. I am a divorced mom of 2 fantastic girls (ages 15 and 12). I have many hobbies and likes, but I have a passion for good music. I have a preference for country music and I enjoy keeping up with new "up and coming" artists and listening to new music. I like pretty much all kinds of music, so I do have an open mind. I am a girl of the 80's and of course love the music of that decade. Outside of listening to music, I am a fan of my favorite sport, competitive cheerleading. Yes, it is a sport and my girls love their cheerleading. We spend a lot of time during the competition season at practices and competing. It's kind of addictive if you are not careful. I am also a certified SCUBA diver. I haven't been in the water for a few years and I could use an adventurous dive buddy!I love the mountains and the beach.5 years in NC). I didn't grow up with mountains or beaches, so those are things I love to have now. Of course I love going to see live music as well as concerts.
