Hey guys, This site was recommended to me, so I thought I'd give it a go. Not sure what to expect, but I figure there's no harm in trying! ABOUT ME: I'm an easy-going, genuinely nice woman that is known for having a big heart and great sense of humour. My friends would describe me as someone who is loyal, selfless, and extremely sensitive to people's energy. I enjoy time well-spent with good friends, but also value my personal time. Physical fitness is a big part of my life: I take care of myself, but not to the point of being neurotic. It's a personal preference, so I do not expect others to feel the same. I love to eat...with respect to cuisine, there's not much that I don't like. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR (I THINK):I prefer genuine, mature, and innately "good" guys (note: this doesn't mean they can't have a badboy side, lol), who can make me laugh. I tend to be attracted to intelligent guys, which doesn't necessarily mean "book smart" or "well-matriculated"...but rather guys that I can learn (anything) from, or that can make me think differently about things. I work hard...sometimes too hard, so I'm looking for someone that will make me not want to go back to work once the work day is done. It would be nice to meet a guy that will add something positive to my life, and not more headache, heartache, stress or drama. So I don't know if listing all sorts of things I like is really going to give a true sense of what you might be getting yourself into. I'm one of those 'good ones' who will stick by your side through the good and the bad. If you believe you can build a mansion from a pile of sticks not only will I support you, I'll help you...and I'll enjoy doing it. I'm an awesome cheerleader who will scream louder than anyone when you score a goal, hit a home run, cross the finish line, or clear all the jelly in Candy Crush Saga(you know you're addicted...don't even lie). I will wear my pride on my sleeve and show you off with reckless abandon.Some of my faults are as follows...sometimes I use the "F" word too much, I am not a superstar in the kitchen (rice is a problem--but rice is not that good for you anyway), it takes me a while to open up and get close to someone--meaning easily scared away by coming on too strong, I don't much like cleaning--I like to say everything is on display...kind of like a museum. Despite all that I have one great thing going for me...this crazy combination of intellect/creativity/ambition/warmth/adventure/comfort/humour...some of the parts that make up me.I'm under no illusion that I will be in a 'relationship' after one, two, or ten dates...the point is to get to know someone and just let things happen. I tend to date a little younger for two reasons. First, I look younger, and by default am approached by younger men. Second, I do want to eventually end up with someone who wants children...many men my age or older have raised families and aren't willing to start over. I'm not against dating anyone older, but I just want to be upfront about what's what. A guy who can make my toes curl AND cause me to smile like an idiot would pretty much be perfect. A cold drink on a hot night, a walk and ice cream, or even driving around aimlessly until we run out of gas and things to talk about

I enjoy early mornings at the gym and taking my dog to the dog park and down to the pier for a nice walk. I love coffee and an early morning on the pier:) I like to go the range and do target shooting, I'm not very great at it though. I enjoy car trips on a sunny day. I enjoy tennis, I do suck at it, though. I enjoy a great bloody mary on my deck in nice weather. I love my jobs and I'm great at them! I love customer service and meeting new people and helping those I can. I enjoy life and enjoy being busy and my limited down time. I'm also a cosmetologist. What does this mean you ask? well, I can cut your hair and take your dental xrays and fit you for a bra at the same time! I know, it's a true talent! I enjoy giving my free time to a local charity, the Kids Food Basket. Making suppers for children who might otherwise go hungry:) I am caring and unselfish. I'm a great single mom, I've been doing it so long. My children are my world and I love to hang out with them. They however, dont always like to hang out with me:)They are older and my youngest just graduated this spring. My oldest graduated last year. The time goes by all too fast. I think I'm funny, people sure do laugh at/with me a lot! I love to make people smile and laugh. I tend to be sarcastic at times:) I am very drama free and hate relationship stress. I hesitate putting myself out there because I'm afraid of meeting someone I might like. (Just being honest) I dont judge the book by its cover but personality is a huge plus! I truly believe that looks fade but that a personality is forever. Thank goodness I have both! ha!ha! JUST KIDDING. My disclaimer;Please.....if you really have no intention other than to chat or hook up, please move along. I'm not a player and expect the same. If you think you're all that and a bag of chips, please move along. Humility goes a long way. If you don't know the difference between "their and there or your and you're" etc. sorry, you are not for me. I have no idea! I think taking the dog for a walk, meeting for a cup of coffee/tea would be nice. Try to alleviate some of the awkwardness of meeting on a dating site. If someone wants to go the range and do some target shooting that would be fun too:) taking a drive up north is always in the cards and just generally hanging out. I'm not really into the bar scene though. Occasionally it can be fun, like a wine tasting or a mix off of some sort. I enjoy the waterfront. I am fortunate enough to live close to water, so why not enjoy it? I think it would great to have a nice conversation with someone interesting:) What's your suggestion?
