So I don't know if listing all sorts of things I like is really going to give a true sense of what you might be getting yourself into. I'm one of those 'good ones' who will stick by your side through the good and the bad. If you believe you can build a mansion from a pile of sticks not only will I support you, I'll help you...and I'll enjoy doing it. I'm an awesome cheerleader who will scream louder than anyone when you score a goal, hit a home run, cross the finish line, or clear all the jelly in Candy Crush Saga(you know you're addicted...don't even lie). I will wear my pride on my sleeve and show you off with reckless abandon. Some of my faults are as follows...sometimes I use the "F" word too much, I am not a superstar in the kitchen (rice is a problem--but rice is not that good for you anyway), it takes me a while to open up and get close to someone--meaning easily scared away by coming on too strong, I don't much like cleaning--I like to say everything is on display...kind of like a museum. Despite all that I have one great thing going for me...this crazy combination of intellect/creativity/ambition/warmth/adventure/comfort/humour...some of the parts that make up me.I'm under no illusion that I will be in a 'relationship' after one, two, or ten dates...the point is to get to know someone and just let things happen. I tend to date a little younger for two reasons. First, I look younger, and by default am approached by younger men. Second, I do want to eventually end up with someone who wants children...many men my age or older have raised families and aren't willing to start over. I'm not against dating anyone older, but I just want to be upfront about what's what. A guy who can make my toes curl AND cause me to smile like an idiot would pretty much be perfect. A cold drink on a hot night, a walk and ice cream, or even driving around aimlessly until we run out of gas and things to talk about

Woman. 39 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 36-46
In my opinion, a life well-lived should include art, music, literature, travel, close friends, good food, laughter, and red wine. Dislikes: Clowns.I'm an incurable list-maker. I don't own a TV. I spend most of my free time making cool stuff. I'm fluent in French and English, and currently learning Italian.I'm shy at first, but I'll open up if I feel comfortable with you - especially if you make me laugh.I'm not a high-maintenance princess, but I do believe chivalry is important. I don't have much baggage to speak of - never been married, no kids, emotionally and financially stable...I am NOT a morning person - but if you serve me a double americano first thing in the morning, we'll get along just fine :)I am looking for someone with shared interests who is authentic, honest, emotionally available, and has integrity. An appreciation of dry, quirky, sarcastic humour is pretty much a must. And if you're passionate, creative, and have a sharp wit, you have my full attention.*Average* doesn't quite describe my body type - I have some pretty awesome curves, so if you're looking for someone who is tall, slim and athletic, you'd best be moving right along... Meeting at a coffee shop or book store; walking around a cool neighbourhood; visiting a museum or art gallery; enjoying brunch or a drink

Are you fun, friendly, kind-hearted, and on-track? If so, you are probably the one I have been looking for! I am a kind, happy, intelligent woman who is ready to find the one. I have spent many years building my life and it is time to settle down and enjoy where I am at; I would love to do that with someone who is ready for the same thing.I enjoy the simple things in life and prefer an afternoon at the cider mill to a day climbing a tall mountain. That is not to say I don't enjoy physical activities, I am just not a big thrill seeker. Kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, or biking are some of my favorite activities. I love nature and the outdoors!I am a teacher and have compassion for just about every living thing; I have found teaching can be the most rewarding, yet difficult career. I find happiness in the face of a child who finally "got it!"; I volunteered a lot while living in the Bay Area and missed it. The group has grown to about ***volunteers and I love that we help those in need.If you think we may have common interests, drop me a line. Thanks for checking out my profile. The zoo.
