About Me

I've moved around a lot-- I love this city. I like enjoying all the stuff is has: the markets, the theatre, the ballet, the libraries, the festivals, the muesums, and even the beaches. My style tends to a more relaxed and easy going outfit. I prefer to be comfortable and casual. (And, no, that doesn't mean Lululemon all the time.) I can totally rock my Blunnies. But my days of 'fashion' are long gone. But, it's still fun to get gussied up for the odd night on the town or party. I live a healthy lifestyle. My weekends tend to be full of wild and crazy activities like: mountain biking and snowboarding. And as much as I love the city, I also like to get out of it on the weekends. Whether its for a weekend camping trip, a day on a hill, a drive through the fall colours or an antique show. It really helps to recharge my batteries. I also really enjoy cooking, and I rarely see it as a chore. I like trying out new recipes, and one of my guilty pleasures is buying cook books. I always get sucked in by their amazing pictures. (My other one is decor magazines....same thing....amazing picutres. I'm ashamed to admit, I don't think I've ever read an article. Oh....that is bad.)I run my own business, and I love what I do. They are the reason I continue to push my boundaries. And some days, I think they will be the death of me, they make me so crazy. I'm looking for a relationship. Perhaps not right out of the gate, but that would be the end result. I prefer you to be active--not necessarily the same acitivies, but you would be open to trying them. And I would be the same with yours. (Right now, I am secretly hoping you don't play golf.) I would also like it if you were honest and forthright, but still gentle and kind. They don't have to be mutually exlusive. I would also like it if you had a sense of humour. Life is easier when you can laugh at the hard parts...and even easier when you have someone who can laugh with you. And if you don't mind folding laundry and washing dishes, that would also be great. Coffee, tea?

    I'm a very honest person, what you see is what you get. I'm definitely not perfect but my intentions are always good. I think I'm fun to be around, I like to laugh and can appreciate a good joke.... especially if it's about me. Communication is big with me, I'm the type of person that likes to talk things out. For me there is nothing worse than trying to guess what someone is feeling. Running late is fine but at least have the common courtesy to tell me you're running late... don't make me call you. It's just rude and I will not stand for it. My time is just as important as yours... if not more :)I am very busy... in addition to working, I have taught myself shorthand on the stenograoph so any free time I have goes to working on that to build my speed up. I would, however, like to find the right person to spend time with without feeling like I'm wasting my time...Honestly, I am much better at this in person. Writing a about myself, along with patience, is not one of my strong points :) I'm looking for a friend, lover and partner.... I'm a handful, I speak my mind and expect to receive what I give in a relationship. I am comfortable being single and will not settle for anything less than what I believe I deserve... nor should you :)
