About Me

Hi, I'm one of those lucky people who made their hobby their profession. I am a professional artist and make my living selling my work. It's great to be my own boss and make all my own decisions, both for my business and my creative choices. I am not shy or introverted and really want/ need to meet someone with a great sense of humor. I've realized that I honestly need to be with someone who can make me laugh and vice versa. My friends describe me as beautifully quirky and honest, in touch with my feelings and very caring. Sometimes they say I'm too forgiving.I would like to travel more and perhaps learn how to do something new with someone special. I love to travel and experience new cultures and see the world. I also like scuba diving and the ocean in general. According to people I've met out west, it's a big part of who I am, although I didn't see it until it was pointed out to me!I think the things that make me unique can't be written about in a very succinct way. It's more of an energy you feel when you're around me. My friends say I have amazing energy and light up a room. People have said they're addicted to being around me and spending time with me. Don't worry, I don't let it go to my head! LOL! I just like people and consider myself to be a social person. However, I would like to meet that special person that I can share secrets with, have inside jokes with and can feel perfectly at ease with, whether we're at a black tie event or just couch surfing in sweatpants. I also need to meet a man who had a happy childhood, likes his parents and siblings and loves cats and animals in general. I have one cat. A unique and maybe even a little quirky man is a positive attribute and I do not need to be with a man as chatty or as outgoing as myself. However, they should be somewhat social. I think a relaxing, but not boring, first date would be the best way to get to know someone. However, I really do appreciate a man who puts some thought into a first date. If it's a restaurant they make reservations. They think about what I like and try to incorporate those things into the evening's events. "Let's meet at this bar and this time" is fine, but shows a total lack of effort, interest and creativity. Just sayin'! I do like the idea of trying something new or going somewhere neither one of us has gone before, even if it's just a new restaurant.

    I was on this site a while ago but just recently got back on, I thought I would try it again. I am on a bowling league in Penetang and I am in a native drumming group, as well I own my own horse and I take ridding lessons and try to ride as much as I can.     Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I really enjoy watching sports either in person or on TV. I play volleyball and enjoy going for walks. I read, play card and board games (I have over ***games!), spend time with my family (they're very important to me), love sitting by a fire, browsing at thrift stores and garage sales, and enjoy going to fairs and festivals. I work for an investment firm, and generally leave my work at the office. My job is fulfilling, but does not consume me.
