I promise to surprise you with great food and we can share a glass of wine while I (or we) cook. A little music in the background sets the tone perfectly.Music speaks volumes to my soul and nothing makes my heart sing like getting a dressed up in my girly- Terelli's, Mercy and Season's 52 are some of my favorite hangouts. A little Frank? Cab Calloway? Dave Brubeck's Take Five anyone? I prefer a short meet and greet first to decide if we should move forward with a first date. Going to a comedy club, snacks and drinks on a patio to people watch, museum, aquarium, arboretum, dinner or coffee is an ideal first date. I adore getting a little dressed up in a girly sort of way and you can leave sporting events off the list. Current events in town, lectures or anything that expands my horizons is more my style. Time to chat and get to know one another during the first date is important to me as I like to know what your opinions consist of rather than the traditional staring at a movie screen for two hours. Showing initiative, being creative and coming up with ideas or suggesting restaurants always scores points in my book. Its fun to have back and forth discussion, but at least come to the table with some ideas.
