About Me

This is something new to me- I haven't been single in a good while but I am not going to sit around and wait anymore. I don't want to go in to great detail about my last relationship but it was nearly a decade of comfort and I am definitely stepping OUT of my comfort zone here. With that being said, I want to be with someone who is ready to just enjoy nice things in life. I like doing things that adults my age should enjoy doing-working a full-time job, spending time with my child, having dinner as a family, going to the movies, going on vacation, going to church when I can- you know, nothing too crazy. I don't mind going to have a drink every once in a while but I am not going to do the bar scene- I refuse! I do realize that no one is perfect and that just because you are on a dating website doesn't mean you are damaged or have baggage but let's face it, we all have a past of some sort and if you have come to terms with yours, are ready to be a decent human being in a committed relationship and do not want to play the field for the rest of your life- send me a message. My life is at a point right now that I think it could only be enhanced by sharing it with someone else. I don't want to fix anyone or financially support anyone so just understand that please. Now, the good stuff!! I am a very confident and independent woman with a great sense of humor. I like to hold hands and just hang out with my man. I am ok being by myself for a night or two if you want to hang out with your buddies. I am not a needy girl- I am also not stupid so don't take my kindness for weakness! I am after-all, a natural red-head and as much as I would like to say I don't have the temper that comes along with it, I do to some extent, have a temper. I will NOT chase you around town looking for your car if you won't answer your phone so, if you want drama- you need to look elsewhere. Bottom-line, do what you say you're going to do if it's within your power. Being in a relationship is a choice you make every single day- if one day you wake up and choose to move on then have the decency to tell me and move on-OK? If you travel due to your job, thats going to be a challenging task to accomplish. Make it count when you are in town and communicate when you are not. You will suprized how far that little bit will go and what an impact it will have. Im not looking for a perfect package, as I know im not, and it probably doesnt exist. But, I am a pretty understanding person if I know whats going on. If you keep me in the dark, then I have no clue and assumptions can arise. Just be open and honest, because I know we all have flaws. :) There's nothing that cant be worked through. I like to give you all my negatives first and if you're still around after that, then you have earned the positives. Because if you can't handle me at my worst, then you don't deserve me at my best. ;) A very relaxed and low key evening. A drink or two to loosen us up and then I overtake you in darts, pool, bowling, or skeeball. LOL...Just kidding, I really suck at all those, I just enjoy playing them! :0
