Fun, charismatic, educated woman working towards my Master's and hoping to meet someone with similar interests, values, and the kindness of heart that should be at the center of every relationship. I am trustworthy, and expect nothing less from the man in my life. I am loyal, considerate, thoughtful, and looking for someone with the same qualities. An occasional singer and actress, I enjoy arts and culture, and movies are one of my favorite ways to unwind. Love to travel, feel most at peace by the ocean, and can't wait for the colorful brilliance of the trees in Fall. You will find me just as at home at hole-in-the-wall burger joint as at a fine restaurant. You might also catch me in the kitchen, decorating cakes or trying to create the perfect loaf of sweet bread. I love irises in Spring, ice cream in Summer, pumpkin pie in Fall and ice skating and hot chocolate in Winter. If I had all the money in the world, I would have a horse farm and take riding lessons every day! Laughter is the best medicine, so a sense of humor is a pre-requisite, and like the movie says, Must Love Dogs! Do you think we could be a match? What's my idea of the perfect first date? I am open to suggestions! While most people "go out for a drink," I have never found the bar scene very appealing. How about pizza and bowling, so we can both laugh at how terrible we are (or at least I can laugh at how terrible I am...). Or coffee and ice skating, but only if you promise not to hold on to the side for too long! What is your idea of a great way to break the ice? Surprise me!

I'm a New Englander through and through. I’ve been in DC since I was 26.After many years working for others - I started my own business 2 years ago. ‘Interior designer’ may conjure images of Million Dollar Decorator, Flipping Out or Designing Women…but my life and work are nothing like these! The reality of an interior designer is a lot less glamorous. There is a lot of grunt work – all the things you don’t see on TV. But the pay-off is pretty awesome. That moment when you see a space and it’s just so pretty – and you made someone so happy to live in that room – that’s a great moment. It's a fun way to lead a creative life and make a living. In a lot of ways, I don’t fit in to the DC scene. I really don’t have any interest in politics, policy or the government. But I still somehow feel like I am in the right place…like this is where I am supposed to be right now. What the reason is – I don’t know yet.I tend to be attracted to men who are witty & down-to-earth, maybe even a little bit dorky, with a preference for funny, curvy redheads!
