About Me

The headline was just to get your attention, although that is both what I am looking for and what I strive to be. By day, I am working on combining my love of the scientific pursuit of knowledge with my desire to care for patients. By night, or whenever I am not doing science and medicine, you can find me running or biking, cooking dinner for friends or going out to listen to music (and perhaps to dance!). When I can, I like to travel;I am fun to be around and have a knack for making people laugh, either with me or at me as I can be silly at times. I don't take myself too seriously although I am serious about what I do and what matters to me, including my friends and family and what I want to do with my life and career. I am caring and compassionate but also have maintained my "take charge" New Yorker attitude if I notice that things can be done more efficiently or better. I try to live a life that is meaningful and hope to find someone who is doing good for the world in their own special way. A fun first date would be to take a walk in a park or along a promenade around dusk followed by either a hot chocolate or ice cream (depending on the weather, of course!)
