I am very much looking forward to meeting my life partner and starting a family. I am very affectionate, honest, caring, generous, understanding and am looking for the same in return. Someone who has the patience to get through the bumps of life together and know that we are on the same team and that we are working together toward the common goals of peace and family. My 30's have been a great opportunity to see what works and what doesn't work in my own relationships and among my friends that are married. Communication, shared values, and flexibility are key. The world seems like such a crazy, hectic place at times, and it's my dream to create a home that is relaxing, nurturing, and above all else, supportive. Some place you really want to come home to at the end of the day :) I like to keep things low-key and laid back. I would very much honor and appreciate someone who is a friend first and has my best interest at heart. I also like to laugh a lot (mostly at myself), so the ability to get my sense of humor or at least appreciate it is a must! Ideally, it would be nice to meet someone who has his own interests and can be happy and content pursuing his own thing at times while I go off to do mine. It’s good to have a healthy balance of being together and sharing time apart. I think that allows both people to bring something back into the relationship and you always have something to talk about.My passions in life include traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures and how they experience life. I enjoy art, museums, day trips to the city, visiting wineries, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, going to the beach, and just being outdoors in general (I can be perfectly content chilling on the couch, too, at times.
