The reality of an interior designer is a lot less glamorous. There is a lot of grunt work – all the things you don’t see on TV. But the pay-off is pretty awesome. It's a fun way to lead a creative life and make a living.In a lot of ways, I don’t fit in to the DC scene. I really don’t have any interest in politics, policy or the government.
