I am not a Self-Centered, high maintenance "Princess". I work hard, don't mind roughin' it especially for the sake of a good time.....BUT, I do believe I deserve to be treated like a princess and in return I will treat "him" like my king :) Real quick, IF you happen to be one of those guys whose main pic is of their "REALLY COOL" muscles with no shirt, flexing & your face cut out.....I'm probably not interested...To me, that must mean those cool muscles are the best you have to offer...Sure they are nice & I am sure you worked hard for them...BUT class is even more important than great muscles. I'd prefer you save them as a bonus for after I get to know you for YOU...not your muscles Just Sayin....About me… I thought turning 40 this year would totally suck…but I am a Capricorn, and am told that we only get better with age (so far so good!.:)) A great thing is that I believe it takes about this long for us to figure out what we really want and what we really don't.....and not be afraid to go for it! I am a good person who makes a conscious effort to never judge another person. We don't know what others are going through or the journey they are on and we are all worthy of respect. We may not understand or agree with other's choices, but then again it is none of anyone else's business. When I see or hear other people making ASSumptions about others....it irritates me. I am not perfect, far from it, and I know I am guilty of this at times, but I do honestly try to catch myself and remind myself that this person is probably just doing what they know at the time and sometimes what we know isn't necessarily the best thing for us.... Life Lessons:)) My 2 sons are my heart&soul, one is on his own becoming every bit the young man I knew he would be and the other isn't far behind. You probably know what I do and LOVE my job and knowing that being the best I can at my job usually means someone's son, wife, dad, etc, will come home. Sometimes it is out of my hands and it is an honor to work with the courageous first responders that are the real heroes every day. My youngest son graduates soon and I do not plan on staying in this small town. No plans on where yet, but I am not afraid of change and actually like the challenge. I am a people person and there isn't ANYONE who knows me that wouldn't agree. I am DEF one of those ppl that you start talking to and just know that you can tell me anything and feel totally at ease. (not always a good thing when you are getting TMI from all over...) I like a good challenge....as long as it just that and not a game. Hate games. Although I am definitely looking for someone to SHARE my life with, independence is important to me. I try to be a good communicator (work in progress) and will be honest - I am working on not shutting off when it gets a little frustrating.... I will support &defend my loved ones sometimes to a fault. When I am in love with someone, I think they will know it maybe even before I say it because I will make a strong effort to show them they are special and how much they mean to me. I happen to think there are different kinds of love. I can't explain it, I just feel it. I am naturally pretty funny (usually without meaning to be) & love to laugh EVEN at myself.. I am happy doing pretty much anything, especially with the right person/people. I spent a few years running rivers, as a guide & privately. I love to camp & can cook a mean dutch oven dinner. Fishing is great with good company and good beer? Hunting….well I like to go mostly for the camping and company. Don’t mind getting dirty one bit for the sake of fun. Infact I enjoy it and am just fine without a blow dryer or makeup if I need to. I love attending sporting events maybe because I am naturally competitive and social...I grew up riding quads and especially dirt bikes (I have all boys so I learned to keep up) All that being said, I also like the city, ANY city!! There are things that are important to me both as a woman & an individual. And I prefer someone who supports this & isn’t possessive of my time so much that I loose my independence. I would hope some independence is encouraged from both sides :)) I believe that is very very important and I will always do my best to support his. I love that it is important to a man to do his “” things and as long as respect is maintained on BOTH sides.... as long as you communicate & make a constant effort always to show each other they are important & a priority, then you get the best of both worlds. A partner AND a best friend who has their own interests AND mutual interests. Respect is a must and loyalty is too. I really believe that I am a great combination of your partner AND your best friend. I need someone who can be the same… Kissing....another important factor. A kiss can say SO much....sometimes not enuf. But it is very telling.I guess I should add that If you can't travel some for a good partner at least for a while .......then I am probably not for you either. I think it's kinda closed- The tough thing is finding that person, the rest is easy compared to that. Besides, if 'the one' were close by, don't you think you would have found her by now? would this site even be necessary? Remember guys, "if she is amazing, she won't be easy. If she is easy, she won't be amazing.". If you are serious about wanting to find the right person, open your mind to the possibility that she actually may not be "; from you. One day you'll thank me for that advice??. Distance can be a very good thing when you are getting to know someone. It makes you have to be creative and keeps things interesting....Eventually if I happened to meet someone special, I would not ALWAYS like to have a long distance relationship so that would be a bridge we would cross together. I LOVE that feeling of looking forward to seeing and touching (leave that open for imagination).... I do believe all that is just logistics and finding someone special is what really matters, no matter what zip code they have......I have NO interest in 1-night stands and hook ups, so I guess some distance makes all that irrelevant (to a point) and when I meet someone I really wanna get to know (and vice versa) then I WILL make make it happen;) I think somewhere in an "easy going" atmosphere. A sporting event is always a plus (for this girl I guess) ......OR If you like to golf and have the right attitude (good beer always helps), I would even let you laugh at me for 9 (but not 18)!!! Lol Meeting for drinks or even coffee is good too...... I'm down for most anything. If there's no connection, honesty is always the best policy.
