Greetings from a lady with an adventurous spirit and inquisitive nature. As a college professor, I spend my days teaching social change through rhetoric and composition, global awareness through the lens of world literature and an appreciation for the humanities in my cultural studies classes. To escape the daily grind, I seek solace in nature...I love animals and have feline roommates. My daily endorphin rush comes from weight training and practicing yoga. Excellent food, whether it is haute cuisine, barbecue or down home cooking is one of the many pleasures in life. I see no point in depriving myself since I work out on a daily basis. (Besides, curves are natural for a woman!) I love to cook, and I take my wine seriously, so much that you may feel inclined to hand me the wine list at dinner.Grabbing my backpack and heading to new places fuels my enthusiasm for exploring the world. I have met a multitude of interesting people and have great stories to tell. I like to think I have a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor. I enjoy cracking my friends up with random commentary and occasional diatribes (the masses are asses kind of thing). It would be wonderful to have a partner to share my travels and perhaps even my life.     Well, I'll start by saying that I am very busy in my life right now. I'm working and going to school full time, so there isn't a lot of free time. But, I would still like someone special in my life. I have a pretty full life, socially. However, I would like to do more stuff around the city. I'm more of a daytime person rather than nighttime, generally speaking. For example, brunch is the BEST! I'd go to brunch any day of the week over dinner. With that said, I also love going to some of the cool restaurants for dinner, too. Because I work and study and seem to be going all of the time, I really treasure my downtime. I love being at home. I'm really hoping to find someone that I can walk through life with. It's so much more fun....and motivating, at least for me. That's all I have for now. I will continue to revise.
