Greetings from a lady with an adventurous spirit and inquisitive nature. As a college professor, I spend my days teaching social change through rhetoric and composition, global awareness through the lens of world literature and an appreciation for the humanities in my cultural studies classes. To escape the daily grind, I seek solace in nature...I love animals and have feline roommates. My daily endorphin rush comes from weight training and practicing yoga. Excellent food, whether it is haute cuisine, barbecue or down home cooking is one of the many pleasures in life. I see no point in depriving myself since I work out on a daily basis. (Besides, curves are natural for a woman!) I love to cook, and I take my wine seriously, so much that you may feel inclined to hand me the wine list at dinner.Grabbing my backpack and heading to new places fuels my enthusiasm for exploring the world. I have met a multitude of interesting people and have great stories to tell. I like to think I have a quick wit and a wicked sense of humor. I enjoy cracking my friends up with random commentary and occasional diatribes (the masses are asses kind of thing). It would be wonderful to have a partner to share my travels and perhaps even my life.     I'm very laid back and I love to laugh - even at myself sometimes. :) My humor can tend to be a bit sarcastic - but in a goofy/fun way! LOL!     So..........ok, I hate this part. First off, I am real and down to earth. Ive always been decribed that way......which I think it a compliment! I am a mom of 2 awesome boys. I am 100% devoted to them. Their dad and I are still friends and we dont have any drama really. Just dont see the point- doesnt do any good. I love to travel. I love the outdoors, sports (going to games or watching on tv), my kids' events, spending times with my friends, etc. I am open to anything as long as the company is good. I've tried this before but been off for a while.... Just wanting to see what's out there and if this site has changed at all. I'd really like to find a good guy...... A gentleman. Someone who knows how to treat a lady. Someone who is funny and can appreciate my sarcasm. I am very close to my family.
