About Me

I am an open-minded professional woman looking for an honest friendship first and eventually a mature relationship. First and foremost, I have a 7 year old boy that is my world. I love spending time with friends and family, love sports (college sports in particular-Tarheel Basketball) and anything outdoors (not one of those females who say they like the outdoors and then 6 months later say that they hate it). Go Heels!! I absolutely love my job and honestly enjoy going to work every day. I work in the healthcare field - dermatology. My passion for healthcare began with veterinary medicine and I have a soft spot for all animals. I spent 3 years in Germany working for the Army Veterinary Corp. and plan to go back to Europe soon for more adventures.I also enjoy living a healthy lifestyle- both physically and mentally, but I also like to indulge in some of life's most finest things***i.e. CHOCOLATE!! (LOL!) As a single mom, it is sometimes difficult to exercise every day but try to stay as active as I possibly can. A sound mind also promotes a sound body***I am a firm believer of this.My friends would consider me silly and a little off the wall sometimes, but a day without laughter is a day wasted. I have no problems laughing at myself, as that occurs almost daily. Would love someone to laugh along with me. While working, out with friends or even home alone, I have been known to start singing a random song or commercial jingle-- keeps the day interesting.I am open to trying new things and meeting new people. Musts for me are honesty, common courtesy and respect. I am strong in my Christian faith and would love to develop and friendship/relationship with someone who can share these same values.     Sense of humor that will keep you on your toes and laughing. Don't need a man I want one who will take control of possible first date and plan something. Don't think a fancy dinner will do it. That's just too easy and actually boring. Let's go throw rocks and put lawnchairs in sand. Anything just take charge and plan something don't ask well what would you like to do. Say I have great idea let's go pick a spot and ice up a 12 pack one on one. I don't wear high heels ever and don't care that I'm into the simple things life has to offer that are never ending. Hope that sums it up for first date and makes someone out there smile.
