About Me

I am an open-minded professional woman looking for an honest friendship first and eventually a mature relationship. First and foremost, I have a 7 year old boy that is my world. I love spending time with friends and family, love sports (college sports in particular-Tarheel Basketball) and anything outdoors (not one of those females who say they like the outdoors and then 6 months later say that they hate it). Go Heels!! I absolutely love my job and honestly enjoy going to work every day. I work in the healthcare field - dermatology. My passion for healthcare began with veterinary medicine and I have a soft spot for all animals. I spent 3 years in Germany working for the Army Veterinary Corp. and plan to go back to Europe soon for more adventures.I also enjoy living a healthy lifestyle- both physically and mentally, but I also like to indulge in some of life's most finest things***i.e. CHOCOLATE!! (LOL!) As a single mom, it is sometimes difficult to exercise every day but try to stay as active as I possibly can. A sound mind also promotes a sound body***I am a firm believer of this.My friends would consider me silly and a little off the wall sometimes, but a day without laughter is a day wasted. I have no problems laughing at myself, as that occurs almost daily. Would love someone to laugh along with me. While working, out with friends or even home alone, I have been known to start singing a random song or commercial jingle-- keeps the day interesting.I am open to trying new things and meeting new people. Musts for me are honesty, common courtesy and respect. I am strong in my Christian faith and would love to develop and friendship/relationship with someone who can share these same values.
