About Me

I'm a counselor, corporate trainer, poet, artist, hypnotherapist, dream analyst, life coach, substance abuse professional, and a dear friend to many, many people - I guess I know enough to be DANGEROUS I suppose. Don't we all???? Truth be told, aren't we all a little crazy?? There's a fine line between genuis and insanity. LOL. Lots of EXCITING things happening in my life right now, but I still find time to date somehow. I'm a prolific reader and writer. Working on getting two books published before the end of the year. First one is coming out in October probably - called "Get Busy Living: The Art of Getting Unstuck" . Also publishing my poetry collection (over ***written) before the end of the year - It is called "Persephone Rising" (my mythological hero) and I'm just picking out the best ones for publication. Don't be fooled though or intimated -- I don't know a stranger and can talk to anyone about anything and everything. People always tell me how comfortable they feel around me and relaxed. That's the counselor in me I suppose - but I'd like to think it's just the intentional act of being kind and decent to other human beings who are not that different from me really. I'm a secure and busy woman who can STILL find time to spend with people who are important to me. I am looking for someone who can hold a good conversation and is stable and kind. I really enjoy lengthy conversations over a glass of wine or some coffee. Every ONE of us has a STORY, and I would love to hear YOURS! Reciprocation is nice in relationships and I would like to find that. I am looking for a good friendship to start because I think that's the foundation of anything that's worth having. I'd be happy to make some new friends even if not interested in something more. Either way, I will be honest with you. I promise you that. I've learned that happiness in life sometimes looks very different from the way we imagined or planned it out, and it can be even better than the plans we laid out. Kind of ironic. I prefer to meet people face to face sooner vs. later. If you can't have a good conversation in person, what's the point really.     Fishing, Boating, Camping, Off Roading, but I sold my jeep, but I still love it. I enjoy hanging with my friends and all their little ones, the parties end up being more for the adults than the kids. I enjoy life to the extreme, I love my job but its not my life. I believe in honesty and being truth full, the truth doesn't hurt, it's lying about it that will bite you in the rear. Travelling is a must, I tend to go away every six months for a re charge. Looking for someone that is motivated and not a tater tot, lookin' to find a friend to chill and hang out sometimes. I do currently only have one dog now, pics show two. I can chat about welding, tools, cars, I was in the maintenance business for steel and forging, love talking about hydraulics and pneumatics, compressors etc. but at the same time I can be a girly girl just my hard hat and steel ties were pink. Going for a walk seems to be the easiest, no movies or dinner, if it doesn't work out your kinda stuck there !!!!!! And that cant be much fun... Meeting up at the dog park is always fun, as long as the other doesn't have any allergies ha ha.
