I've been out of the dating scene for quite some time and I'm ready to give it another try. Plain and simple- I'm a good person, with a good heart and I'm ready to move forward in life with the right person. It was 9th grade, Coronation dance. I went with John S. I was wearing a green dress he had on a matching light green sweater (oh ahh). I had about 20 pounds on him b/c he was wrestling in the pip squeak catagory. So dinner wasn't too exciting b/c I was the only one who ate! He had a piece lettuce. Anyway, John's dad carted us around to dinner, the dance, back home. I had my first kiss on my front porch that night. It reminded me of......a cat lapping milk?!? Was that not how it was supposed to be??! Not as romantic as I thought it would be! Maybe it was b/c he was starving! :) OK, IN ALL SERIOUSNESS- I'm down w/quick first dates. A coffee, a drink. A walk around a shopping area. If we feel it's worth a second date, we can do more!
