But I also like a little old fashioned romance and I hate being the only one doing the "inviting", which seems to be the case after the first date. I like Men with confidence and who go after what they want. I appreciate a man who takes "control" and wants to be in charge, whatever the situation. I am type A in business, but I don't want to be the "pants" in a relationship. I like a MAN who is rough around the edges, likes to get dirty, can take me in the backcountry and "wow" me with his outdoor skills. (I do have a "type" that I tend to go for- rugged with the facial hair...looks hot in jeans and a tee shirt and baseball hat. But I've been wrong before! Maybe that's the problem?)I am a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and in 1st degree in tactical self-defense. Im looking for a new school to train with right now...and I'mMissing training!!(No, I won't kick your ass, so don't even ask) and I also see a trainer 2 days a week. So that being said, being active and being in somewhat good shape is important to me. I need someone who can keep up or even better- challenge me to keep up with them!!I have a daughter and she is my priority and my heart. She is with me most of the time and we are always doing something to keep us entertained and busy (when we aren't at tkd that is). She is also a 2nd degree black belt and she trains with me. We are super close and frankly, she totally rocks! I think that kids are the best thing ever!I absolutely LOVE water- and if I could live on a boat, I probably would. I am an advanced scuba diver and I love to go on dive trips. I have been to some greats destinations, but there are so many more I need to see! Never dove before? Okay, yes, I will be patient and wait for you to get certified.Some of my favorite activities? I love concerts (especially outdoors), REAL games (I am a season ticket holder), movies, just playing around at the park, long drives, anything in the mountains (hiking, camping, bbq-ing,), snowmobiling, boating, scuba, four- First dates are always interesting- so whatever makes you comfortable! I don't like coffee though- so lets not make it a coffee date, please?I'm always looking for something new to try.....

I've decided that it's time to stand still and take a moment to breathe. Too often in life people run around from point A to point B without taking a moment. I'm a single parent, rennovating my house, working and really miss sitting on the deck drinking a coffee (or wine) relaxing and enjoying the evening with some good company.My son is a strong influence in my life. I am a full time single parent and have never felt stronger or able to accomplish more when I know it will be for his benefit. I am close to my family as well, I think highly of my parents, love my brother and sister dearly. A great deal of my best memories involve them. I've built many strong friendships that have endured ***years of life changes and still bring me new insights.I enjoy the outdoors, perhaps not as much as some on this site as you won't find me hanging off a cliff or climbing a new mountain every weekend. I've done a lot of travelling and had many great experiences; each culture has left an imprint worthy of some great stories. I'm sure we'll figure something out.
