First of all, I'm the proud mother of an amazing 5 year old little girl who has changed my world and me for the better. Kids have a funny way of re-prioritizing your life the second they come into it... she has taught me to appreciate the little things in life *** taking it for granted, and I learn more from her every day than she will probably ever learn from me. I've worked hard to accomplish a lot of things on my own up to this point in my life, and am constantly setting new goals and pushing myself to open up opportunities and make life better for myself and for my little girl. I'm adventurous and enjoy the outdoors - to a certain extent - but you would catch me in an air conditioned cabin overnight on the float trip rather than in a tent. I'm also highly independent since I've lived most of my adult life taking care of myself and now my daughter. A few of favorite things... stargazer lilies, coffetake gym, Moscato, 5k's, baking, 96.5 The Buzz, water by the gallon, and my Saucony's. I've learned a lot from past relationships, but I think one plus from the time I've spent single is I've had the opportunity to find happiness on my own. I believe that no one can be truly happy with someone else until they are happy with themselves. I'm at a place in my life where I'm finally OK with where I'm at, what I've accomplished, and where my future is going. The only thing missing is a partner to share it with. I'm looking for a partner who can appreciate an independent woman with a highly developed sense of sarcasm. Someone who isn't intimidated by a woman who has her sh*t together, and has his own together as well. An honest and mature man who likes kids, can make me laugh and give me butterflies, and will say what he means *** telling me what he thinks I want to hear. Something where we can sit and talk to get to know each other. I think the worst idea ever for a first date is a club or a movie, I prefer coffee or wine and conversation :)

Hello,My general philosophy about life is all experiences are lessons, it’s up to you to learn the lesson and apply it to the rest of your life. Some of most challenging experiences have provided me the best lessons and have made me the person I have become.-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. I think being part of a large family has really taught me how to get along with people, negotiate and compromise. My family and friends have supported me through thick and thin. I feel very lucky to have such great people in my life. Fitness is pretty important to me as well and I exercise regularly, I go to the gym mostly, but when weather permits I like to go running. I’ve been known to swim from time to time as well. I’ve tried golf, enjoyed that too, although I sucked haha.Generally speaking I’m pretty happy with my life, I have a job that keeps me challenged, too challenged at times, great friends and family. I guess I’m on this site looking for an excellent dude to add to that life and see where it goes. If you think you might be that dude, drop me a line, I’ve been looking for ya :)

I have two little girls who I love with all my heart. I have a Master's Degree in Autism Studies. I have a very close group of friends and I love going out and having a good time with all of them. I like the movies and reading. I listen to all different kinds of music but haven't been to a concert or the movies in forever. Family and friends are so important to me. I'm very close to my extended family and vacation with them every summer. I love the beach and not working in the summer. I recently started running on the treadmill and really love it. It's one of my favorite parts of the day. I try and see the bright side of everything and everyone. I plan on continuing my education, and would love to get a degree in Psychology. I work hard everyday to create a wonderful life for my daughters and make sure they go to bed every night feeling loved, happy and safe. I think it's really weird to be talking about myself so much. I think just hanging out and continuing to get a chance to talk and get to know someone. The place isn't as important as the company. As long as the conversation is easy to sustain. I think laughing is a huge part of having fun with someone and enjoying your time together.
