First of all, I'm the proud mother of an amazing 5 year old little girl who has changed my world and me for the better. Kids have a funny way of re-prioritizing your life the second they come into it... she has taught me to appreciate the little things in life *** taking it for granted, and I learn more from her every day than she will probably ever learn from me. I've worked hard to accomplish a lot of things on my own up to this point in my life, and am constantly setting new goals and pushing myself to open up opportunities and make life better for myself and for my little girl. I've learned a lot from past relationships, but I think one plus from the time I've spent single is I've had the opportunity to find happiness on my own. I believe that no one can be truly happy with someone else until they are happy with themselves. I'm at a place in my life where I'm finally OK with where I'm at, what I've accomplished, and where my future is going. The only thing missing is a partner to share it with. I'm looking for a partner who can appreciate an independent woman with a highly developed sense of sarcasm. Someone who isn't intimidated by a woman who has her sh*t together, and has his own together as well. An honest and mature man who likes kids, can make me laugh and give me butterflies, and will say what he means *** telling me what he thinks I want to hear. Something where we can sit and talk to get to know each other. I think the worst idea ever for a first date is a club or a movie, I prefer coffee or wine and conversation :)
