I love being outside. I coach a youth ski team in the in the winter at a local ski area. I am a triathlete and aspiring Ironman. I love an adventure, whether it is rock climbing or bringing my dog hiking. When I have a free day, I enjoy being out on my bike with friends and following it up with a good meal. I enjoy cooking and baking and trying new recipes, especially if I have someone to cook for. When I am not busy I enjoy watching a good movie or reading a book. I listen to mainly top 40 music. Every now and then I like a little bit of country. There's just something about ski season that fits with a good country song. I like music that makes me move. Its great motivation on a long run. For a first date, I'd be happy for anything from coffee at a local coffee shop to dinner out. It is the company that matters!

I know sex in the city exists.... but what about dating in the city, or getting to know someone in the city, or a nice freaking guy in the city? ok...the sex in the city reference is from when i lived in nyc but i suppose all the wondering about dating is the same for a single girl anywhere. i say what i mean and mean what i say***i look for that in people i surround myself with as well. diclaimer: [if you think my headline is an invitation to inquire about my breasts and couldn't tell that it's a witty (slightly sarcastic) comment meant to catch your eye, or think that because i mention the word 'boobs' that i'd like to hear about any part of your anatomy....i suggest you move on]I was really focused on school and then building my career and just didn't feel the need for a relationship, but now that i'm older and established i'm starting to crave a little companionship, someone to take me to dinner and a movie, someone to run errands with, or hold my bags while we go shopping... or if thats not your thing I'm sure there is a lifetime movie I can talk you into. Relax...I'm a hot wings, beer, and whatever game is on at the bar kind of girl.(but in all honesty if you want to go shopping, i probably won't say no) i'm in the hospitality industry so typically holidays and weekends don't usually exist. however, at my level fortunately i do have a little more flexibility, but anyone i date will have to respect that long hours are part of the deal. but that being said, i do desire a personal life and i try to keep a balance. Since I'm such a busy first dater, I'll speak from my experience...kidding...ok, i'm sure by now you've realized I'm pretty witty, but want to catch me in prime akwardness...insert first date. i get nervous just like everyone else...really, this is not the ideal meeting people situation. i'd imagine a casual setting would work, something like meeting my parents and being interigated by my best girl friends. BUT, seriously...i'm sure whatever you suggest..ie: coffee, drinks, something of the like would be just fine. **If it leads to a second date, then we'll know it was a good idea.
