About Me

I know sex in the city exists.... but what about dating in the city, or getting to know someone in the city, or a nice freaking guy in the city? ok...the sex in the city reference is from when i lived in nyc but i suppose all the wondering about dating is the same for a single girl anywhere. i say what i mean and mean what i say***i look for that in people i surround myself with as well. diclaimer: [if you think my headline is an invitation to inquire about my breasts and couldn't tell that it's a witty (slightly sarcastic) comment meant to catch your eye, or think that because i mention the word 'boobs' that i'd like to hear about any part of your anatomy....i suggest you move on]I was really focused on school and then building my career and just didn't feel the need for a relationship, but now that i'm older and established i'm starting to crave a little companionship, someone to take me to dinner and a movie, someone to run errands with, or hold my bags while we go shopping... or if thats not your thing I'm sure there is a lifetime movie I can talk you into. Relax...I'm a hot wings, beer, and whatever game is on at the bar kind of girl.(but in all honesty if you want to go shopping, i probably won't say no) i'm in the hospitality industry so typically holidays and weekends don't usually exist. however, at my level fortunately i do have a little more flexibility, but anyone i date will have to respect that long hours are part of the deal. but that being said, i do desire a personal life and i try to keep a balance. Since I'm such a busy first dater, I'll speak from my experience...kidding...ok, i'm sure by now you've realized I'm pretty witty, but want to catch me in prime akwardness...insert first date. i get nervous just like everyone else...really, this is not the ideal meeting people situation. i'd imagine a casual setting would work, something like meeting my parents and being interigated by my best girl friends. BUT, seriously...i'm sure whatever you suggest..ie: coffee, drinks, something of the like would be just fine. **If it leads to a second date, then we'll know it was a good idea.

Looking for: man. In age: 30-40

I am looking to meet new people on here. I have a busy schedule that makes it hard to have a big social life! I work full time as a pharmacy tech, go to school full time, work a second job, and take care of my son. I love to surround myself with people that can make me laugh. I am easy going and a truly genuine person. If you are just looking to play games then I am not interested. Something unique.....

    1. I enjoy 4-.. yet!), going to State Parks.2. I am working on my Bachelors in Psychology. I want to teach people life skills in group homes or transition homes.3. I have a teenage son who is active it HS football and baseball. I am Christian, but I wouldn't consider myself a 'Bible Banger,' but my religion is important to me. 4. I listen to all different genres of music. Sometimes I have to be in a certain mood to listen to a certain genre. Dinner and a movie = bad idea. You don't have a chance to chat and get to know the person.Dinner and a couple drinks = better idea. You are able to talk and get to know the person a little bit better. I'm super shy so a drink or two is beneficial so I talk!!

I'm starting over with my romantic life. I have everything else in place, I just haven't found my soul mate yet. I enjoy going out for dinner, drinks, movies, museums, concerts, theme parks, and long walks on the beach. I love traveling and experiencing new places that are interesting. I'm going on a European cruise in Nov and am very excited, it's my first trip to Europe! I'm also very family oriented and love spending time with family and friends. I love my job as a Respiratory therapist. I enjoy the opportunity to help people feel better. I have gained a better appreciation for how fragile life is from working in the hospital for nearly 10 years now. I see how short life can be and try to be a fun and positive person. I work nights, so my schedule is a little different than most people, but I love it.I'm looking for a good man who is not perfect, but who will make me happy. He should be somewhat educated, financially and emotionally stable, have a positive outlook on life, and is also family oriented. I'm open to dating a guy who has kids, but I want kids of my own one day too. I prefer my guy to be good with his hands, handy around the house, and enjoys doing things together. I also have a preference for white guys that enjoy rock music. Something casual like drinks, coffee, lunch or dinner would be nice. I have an annual pass to Busch Gardens and Sea World, maybe we could go ride some coasters and get to know each other while walking around the park. If you have another fun suggestion, I'm open.
