I am obsessed with the Zeitgeist. I like to think about pop culture and counter culture, past and present. Despite a tendency to romanticize the past, I can’t imagine going back in time. I like the internet and air conditioning far too much. I’ve avoided getting a smart phone up to this point, but I have a feeling that once I finally give in, I’ll be hooked. I've done some traveling, though not as much as I would like. Now, due to time/money/energy constraints, I settle for the occasional day trip to a nearby city to shop and visit museums. I love going to see movies, and marathoning shows on Netflix.As for television, I'll watch pretty much anything on PBS or BBC America.D. James. I love music, and I'm all over the board with it, although there's a lot of music from the eighties and nineties on my iPod.The qualities I admire most in other people (and strive for myself) are empathy, compassion, and a sense of humor. As mentioned above, I love museums. I also love movies. I love going to local fairs and festivals. I'm a cheap date, because I'm an embarrassingly picky eater -- burgers will do just fine.
