About Me

Soooo...I guess I have to talk about myself...it's always weird, but for starters, I received my BA in English in May of ***and am still contemplating what I want to be when I grow up. I'm currently working as a Certified Tumor Registrar and I like it but I'm not sure it's something I could do forever. Hopefully one day working at a large hospital or ideally for the state or CDC.I try to get to the gym as much as possible but it doesn't rule my life, I like spending time with friends, sailing, dancing, and watching sports. I also love to read, I'm a little bit of a nerd, but I'm ok with it.I love traveling...I wish I could do it more often. I also am a bit ashamed to admit that I love Vegas. I love the pure decadence of it (if you do it right).I'm on here to meet new people. It's pretty much impossible to meet anyone in a bar and I work mostly with women, so I figured this is my best option. I'm usually up to go anywhere, except for sushi (I don't eat anything from the ocean)....but I'm fine with brewery tours, wine tastings, fishing...it's all good!!People I find myself drawn to are usually educated, athletic, honest, funny, and loyal. I don't play games and expect the same. Intelligence is extremely important to me; I need to have the ability to have an intellectual conversation with the person I'm with....I've also recently really decided I have a severe aversion to beards, so no beards please.Also- please have a job, a car (as I don't live in the city) or at least access to one, and no children. Please send me a message if you think we'd hit it off, what's the worst that could happen, right? I'm really open to almost anything on a first date....going out for a drink, a movie, dinner, a sporting event...something creative will earn you points but traditional is fine too.

I live a great life. I get to do what I love most for a living. But it didn't come easy. I've worked hard for it. I appreciate hard work. But I enjoy relaxation as well. I am cursed with being a natural caretaker. But I'm older and wiser now and would like someone to take care of me.

I am recently single and would love to see who else is out there!I go to an art school and study Illustration. I love art, food and traveling. I wish I was still away...I am the type of person who when goes to a cottage, likes to get outside and have fun: sail, windsurf, canoe, kayak, water ski, go tubing, pick wild berries, help the hostess prepare dinner, make s'mores, play board games, and watch the stars. I'm not looking for the type who when goes to a cottage just wants to get drunk and not get his feet wet.If I interest you and you want to send me a message, refer to what Chianina is in your message. Thanks for reading :-)

I'm a Christian and God is my life. I have a little boy from my previous marriage and he's my sweet boy. :) I'm very picky because I want the best for him (and for myself). I'm very family oriented and I don't go to bars or clubs at all. I'm a member of the church of Christ. I have my bachelor's degree and I'll graduate in December with my Master's in Early Childhood Education. I love just riding around in the car and having fun. Traveling, road trips, eating out, hanging out, etc. Everyone has problems. Big problems, small ones. It doesn't matter. The same thing can happen to two different people and they can react in two different ways that ultimately will affect their whole life. The same sun that hardens clay melts butter. What happens if you get out in the sun for too long? You'll get a sunburn. It is silly to get mad at the sun for giving you a sunburn. That's what it does. All you can do is either put on sunscreen or go in the house. Likewise, if someone always treats you bad or makes you mad, it's silly to expect anything different from them. Just like the sun... that's what they do. You either need to go in the house (get away from them) or put on sunscreen (get tough skin) and diffuse the situation with soft words (soft answer turns away wrath). I like to put my input in sometimes, but it means a whole lot when the guy has a plan!
