    So, I sneaked away that night while the clowns weren't looking. At seventeen, I decided it was time to return home, where I was embraced by my relieved parents and then promptly grounded. I never saw my circus friends again, but I did eventually return to the Hill Country, where I obtained a master's degree, also in Creative Writing. A nice first date location would be a restaurant with good food, like seafood or Mexican.
