I love having my hair played with and my neck bitten hard. I love ice and candle wax. I love when you are hard and you shouldn’t be. I love peeling dried glue off my fingers and the sound packing tape makes when you pull it off the roll. I love anything that glows in the dark. I love the way lava rocks sound when you rub them together. I love the word**** I love mechanical pencils filled with individual lead tips and old- I love the smell of old books. I love movies with endings that shock and books that are so good I never want to finish them. I love hearing one hit wonders I loved in high school and feeling 17 again. I love people who smile back and people who say thank you or who give the wave of recognition when I let them go ahead of me in traffic. I love fragment sentences and ellipses and the way certain words feel in my mouth.
