About Me

I am a single mother to one handsome little boy so if children bother you then you can move on to the next lady at this point because I am a package deal. If you have chosen to read on and my son isn't an issue for you then.... here goes.... I am a United States Navy veteran. I served as an Air Traffic Controller. I am now a student working towards a double major in Aviation Aerospace Management and Homeland Security. I am very loyal to my education and my Family; they come first in my life. I am not out looking for a "hook-up" and wont entertain anything of the sorts. Shall I repeat, I am NOT out looking for a "hook-up" and wont entertain anything of the sorts! Sorry, in past experience, recent experience, it was made clear to me that some guys have to be told more than once before they listen so... there you go! Now don't act surprised if I feel the need to remind you of that. I am a very honest person so if you don't get a response to anything you send within 2 days, you aren’t going to get one so don't waste your time sending a second, third or tenth one please. You are only wasting your time at that point. I am very open with my past and if asked and I feel it is appropriate, I will tell you anything. I am here to find someone I connect with, someone who is honest, and most important...... someone who is "READY" to go out on a limb and take a chance to get to know me for who I am. I am very stubborn at times, so I will go ahead and throw that out there. In the past I have allowed myself to make decisions based on what the other person involved wanted and... Lesson learned.......... I will not go down that road again. I am who I am and I have my own opinion and beliefs. I have morals and values that I will not sacrifice for anyone. Now that that’s out of the way... I can say that I am also a very kind hearted person, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. When I pass by someone on the side of the street holding a sign, I almost always stop and give them money. I am the type of person you can call day or night, in a bind or just to talk and I am always there. I trust whole heartedly, to a flaw at times, however I am a VERY intelligent woman. Please do not confuse my kindness for stupidity, that insults me and, well.... I am the type of person, if you insult me, I am going to let you know about it, in private or in the middle of Time Square, I don’t care. I can be witty at times and serious at others. I like to think I am a fun person to be around, I love to smile and laugh and I can find joy in the smallest things. I don’t need to be wined and dined, at times it is great, but I don’t expect that on the norm. I am the type of girl that offers to pick up the check every other date and I don’t mind doing that at all. It’s a give and take in any relationship. I like to be girly, there is a time and a place for it, but on a normal day I usually roam around in jogging shorts and a tank top or t-shirt. I am the type of person who will wear exactly that on a first date. I don’t feel it is necessary to attempt to impress or win over a man with my looks. What you see is what you get and it’s better to see what you’re getting from day one.... at least I think so. I am just as comfortable in blue jeans and boots or work out wear and tennis shoes as I am in high heels and short skirts. Those days of being so consumed with turning heads have long gone to me. I am confident regardless of what I wear so..... I guess there is a lot to me and to continue typing it all out would take the fun out of getting to know one another so..... If you think you can handle me, feel free to write. And might I also add, my age range is from 26 to 34 so..... Any older or any younger is kind of pushing the bar for me. No offense to anyone. But I don’t find it appropriate to date someone who is old enough to be my daddy. That would make meeting the parents a little too awkward for me and any younger than 26 in most cases, not all cases, the guy hasn’t matured enough for my liking so........ Sorry there as well. I would be happy grabbing a couple rods and reels and spending the afternoon fishing at the lake. That’s just me I guess! I don’t need all the fine things in life, to me the most valuable of things are things that can’t be bought. A nice afternoon, good conversation, and with any luck a catch or two is all this girl needs! Lol If you are lucky, and the afternoon goes well in all three areas, you might even get dinner out of the deal haha.

    Im definitely looking for a man who's ready to settle down and start a family sometime in the future but I'm by no means desperate to find just anyone, I'm patient enough to wait for the right person and the right time and you never know when or where that will be :)First and foremost I have a wonderful 4 year old daughter who's number one in my life, you can either embrace it or stop reading now because I certainly don't want her to be a burden on anyone who isn't fond of kids. Ive been single for awhile by choice and i think it gave me time to find out more about myself and what I'm looking for out of life. Im not into playing games so please just be straight forward with what your looking for it takes time to get to know someone but if we're looking for different outcomes it'll just waste our time. Also if you know you don't like kids or that there might be a problem with me having one then please don't even bother starting a conversation. No need for any sort of false hope. I dont want to sound picky but please have a car, no crazy ex gf's trying to sabotage your current relationships,A place you call home and your head in the right direction, with goals in place. I love going out and having a good time, concerts, fairs, local bars, casino,etc. but also love quiet days/nights at home. I dont think im a good fit for someone who parties constantly, i did all that in my younger days. A favorite pastime would have to be photography, I'm sure I have more pictures of my daughter than the average person.I love traveling and seeing lots of new places and hope to find someone who would like to do the same. I currently work as a Chiropractors Assistant and plan on starting nursing school in the coming months. Im not high maintenance but i do enjoy the comforts in life. If theres someone on here or in life im interested in ill be happy to share more hobbies, goals, aspirations, interests etc. until then im still waiting for that right person to come into my life. Ultimately I just want someone that makes me happy and vice versa. I'll give just as much as I get. :)Thanks for reading! :)) P.s. One thing I cannot compromise on is smoking cigarettes!! It disgusts me, it stinks, its expensive, and unattractive. Depends on the guy it would be a mutual decision :)
