About Me

Alright, About me. I do tend to be shy when in an unfamiliar situation, but warm up quickly. I like doing all sorts of things, mostly I like to stay active. I also like watching movies and just hanging with a group of friends. I'm not your typical girly girl. I am not afraid of hard work or getting dirty. However I will admit it I am a romantic, I am still a girl after all ;-} I am honest and want the same in my partner. I'm looking for a man NOT a puppy. This shouldn't have to be pointed out, but you're the man ..... please act like one. Be assertive, know what you want and what is going on. That's attractive! So I am a single mom of two boys that are 100% MY responsibility. I have plenty of free time, but they do come first. I listen to country music, but like a wide variety of music. Alright that's it for now might add more later..............ok its later a few notes, don't give me your number and ask me to call or text you, I won't. You want my number you'll have to take the chance and ask me for it. Although yes I am attracted to older men, If you are old enough to be my dad, date my mom or you have children that are closer to my age then I am to your age I'm sorry I won't be interested. If you are my age or younger then me again I just won't be interested. Don't ask me out unless you are going to plan the evening again you are the one asking me out, no excuses. . . Why is this so difficult to understand? Take the time to get to know me, my youth will be gone one day so like me for me not cause you are attracted to my physical body. And lastly I HAVE TWO LITTLE KIDS ***in school one not. I can not nor would I EVER pawn them off on someone else at a drop of a dime to spend time with you unlesss I know you well enough and we can all spend time together. There are times I'm lucky and can go out at a drop of a hat but these times are few. Most times I need advance notice, it never hurts to ask but please don't get mad if I can't. This may sound shrewd, but really it's not I care more about my children then a stranger, be considerate please.     I consider myself to be an independent woman with somewhat old-fashioned values when it comes to dating. I haven't always been this way but after some dating experiences I have decided that some of the values our parents followed probably were successful for a reason. I am usually considered to be the "funny" one in the group and finding someone with a sense of humor is at the top of my list. I think the world today is superficial and although being healthy is important, when we are all 80 years old having someone who can hold up their end of a conversation will be more important than having someone that looks good naked. I like all types of music but hip hop and r&b is probably what I listen to most. My favorite artist is Beyonce but I also like Aerosmith and artists like Pink. Sometimes I find myself getting very interested in a certain subject or topic and I will watch documentaries and try to learn everything about it I can. I enjoy watching movies and a lot of shows on HBO. I can't really stand a lot of reality TV but I do like American Idol (don't judge me lol). I spend a lot of time with my family and friends. My work is very important to me and I take pride in being a hard worker. I think one of the most important things to know about me is that I kind of tell it how it is and don't have time to play games. I just want to meet someone who is looking for a companion in life and someone to share and make new experiences with. I don't need a man, I just want one and I think that may be what sets me apart from some other women in the dating scene. I will not be "hanging out" or "chillin at your house" for a first date. We will be meeting in a public place maybe over a drink or dinner. And if you want to start a debate about how women should be paying for the first date in ***then do not message me. It's not about the $ - have some class. Lol.

    Well Here we go huh?? lol. I am a single mother of two beatuiful children. I have a 5 year old and a 4 yr old. You probably will not meet them. I am very protective over my kids and their feelings, until there is "something". I work hard. I have two jobs and attend college full time. I have a busy schedule. I make sure my day is over by ***pm so I have time with my babies. I am very determined and independent. I have always been that way. I try to treat others as I would want to be treated. I have met a few people on here and lets just say that some things never change. I already have two associate degrees but I am in nursing school and only have a year left. Once I am finished I will go on for my BSN. I should only have a few classes to complete to graduate with that. Then I can become an officer in the Air force. That is my goal. Also I am a very honest person and I expect the same. I would like to meet someone that has the same ambition that I do. Someone that has a job... (we can talk about the reasons later) Is driven to do well in life. Has a great personality. I believes this is what makes someone.. Someone that takes care of their children, if you have any. You HAVE to like and get along with kids. With online dating there has to be some sort of physical attraction.. (thats all I am going to say about that)I dont mind to chat and be friends.. thats all cool But I hate to be lead on.. Dont say you are ready for a relationship and only to find out that your not.. I am sure there are things that I am missing. If you have a gf,wife, or just want sex.. please move on... I am not the one for you!! I have morals and try to do things right. I will put all my effort into the right person. I listen to all kinds of music, anything that has words. lol. But country has my heart! I am not a picky person and I am open to new things.. I dont like to make decisions like that. I just go with the flow... Would like to do something that we can get to know each other.. Nothing that puts the stress of a first date on us!! lol
