I just started this to see how it goes. I'm not one to play games. I've been single 6 years and that's because I've become to picky on what I want. I've been hurt to many times. I have 2 kids who are my entire world..a boy and a girl. That's also a reason I've been to picky. I'm a dork and I'm really fun. My favorite band is Avenged Sevenfold but I like everything. Music is my escape from the world. I love watching movies. And working out is a big part of my life. I am 28 years old and love to read and take pictures. I shoot primarily outdoor nature and animals as well as my nephew. I really enjoy listening to music. As you can probably assume, country music is my favorite genre but I do enjoy all music and am always open listening to something new. Going to concerts is a guilty pleasure of mine. I also am a huge sports person. I am a die hard Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks fan. Writing is another past time for me. I have been toying with the idea of writing a novel, and have put some pen to paper for it but not much yet. My family is very important to me, and always has been. I live with my sister and my nephew right now. He is 4 and an amazing little man. My friends are also incredibly important to me and I enjoy spending my free time with them either hanging out or going to small bars or pubs. I am not really into the Club scene. I am also always open to a night at home with a good movie and cuddling on the couch, yes I know it sounds cliche, but I can't help it. I am not the type of girl who needs grand gestures, I would rather simple things, like a single rose versus a dozen or a hand written note over some pre-made card. It is fun to do things big and lavish occasionally but I would almost always rather the simplistic side of things. I am looking for someone with serious intentions, I am tired of games and drama. I also am not interested in one night stands, so if that's what you are seeking, it's best to keep moving. I want someone who is kind, compassionate, caring, and not afraid to show his affection in public, within reason of course. Someone understands the importance of family and friends, especially since I am so close with mine. Also, a pet peeve of mine, is simply *** from people. If you aren't interested, that's fine, but *** completely is just rude. Open to suggestions but a walk along beach or a forest preserve followed by sitting under the stars talking, sounds good to me. The standard coffee/drinks/dinner is always good too though.
