- I'm a huge science nerd. The majority of my time is spent in a research lab or studying as I work my way through some of the basic courses in my first year of my doctoral work. I have a few very specific scientific passions that I could spend hours talking about if given the time.- I am a gamer, but not in a spend***hours-a-day-at-the-computer way. I used to play WoW competitively, but haven't had an active account years. I also used to play D&D in college and would love to get back into it. I own a Nintendo 64 and would love to find people willing to spend a night in playing some Mario Kart (and this is where I preemptively call dibs on Peach!).- I am very passionate about queer and trans rights. I have a lot of opinions on what our government is (or better, is NOT) doing for both and I'm not afraid to speak my mind. I used to volunteer for a national LGBT hotline and lead the trans organization at my undergrad university.- I have identified as genderqueer for the past five years and consider myself pansexual (though I have limited dating experience with cis-males). If you have questions about either, I'm open to conversation.For the sake of being honest: I will rarely, if ever, reply to messages along the lines of "Hi! How are you?"
