I'm rarely serious, unless absolutely necessary. Simple is better - making big issues out of small issues is boring & I'd rather skip ahead to the high five/hug/better time.Hobbies.. are a little "dated" for my age. I bake, I knit/crochet, I read, & music is usually involved with these activities. I have a dog & cat.. & I love them dearly. If you're not into pets, sadly, I'm not into you. & if you don't date me, I'll probably adopt 20 more.Relationship wise, I'm looking for the basics really - job, car, place to live & personality wise - just an honest, funny, sweet, good guy.     I have tried this before, but why not give something a second chance? Straight up: not looking to hook up with you. I am by no means a prude, but simply am uninterested in ending your dry spell. If you have ever said "reading is boring" or something to that extent, this probably won't work. Also, I like to laugh and I like beards. I'm not sure why I felt like mentioning both of those in the same sentence, but there ya go!..either way I love talking about it. I work hard, and have a tough job, but I will always make time for someone special. I have a child that I have joint custody of, so my days with her are important. I hope to travel more now that I have a "career." I also enjoy a nice dinner out, a football game and cheap beer, or video games and cigars. Really, I am pretty laid back and easy going, but I do like to have a good conversation. Does anyone actually do the: "let's go go-carting, or to a vineyard, or water skiing?" No, we all end up at a coffee shop or somewhere equally easy, so let's not kid ourselves. :)
