Talking about myself to nobody in particular isn't particularly fun, so here's an idea of some things I like. Maybe we have some stuff in common..-Books: Hunger Games series, Animal Farm, the Scary Stories series from when I was a kid, anything by Richard Laymon... trying to venture out more with reading, but I get bored easily.-Movies: anything scary, funny, cheesy, badass, or a combination of those things. Horrors and superheroes are my top favorites though! Anything with zombies or Captain America, Batman, etc.. I have lots of favorites; I have trouble choosing.-. I don't watch anything regularly throughout a season, but if I happen to catch these shows on I watch them.-Music: rockabilly, oldies, ska, alternative.. I can listen to just about anything except for techno, rap, and hip-hoppy type stuff.-Food: cheeseburgers, pizza, hot wings, etc., Mexican, Chinese, Italian... in some ways i'm like a man... Open to anything as long as we can talk and get to know each other.. Easiest way to do this I find, is over a couple of drinks. Movies are not good first dates, and really "sit-down" dinners aren't either.. I'd rather have pizza and a couple drinks with you at a bar or something. Less pressure. I'm not picky though, that's just a suggestion!On that note though, I know a lot of guys on here say they aren't smokers, but then they will smoke when they drink. I will NOT date a smoker even if it is only sometimes. If this is you, please do not send me a message or respond to a message from me!

So I never thought I would actually be trying out this whole online dating thing, but yet here I am. I have a master's degree in forensic psychology and I'm currently working on my doctorate in counseling psychology. Don't let that scare you, I have better things to do than analyze everyone I meet. In my free time (when I'm not studying) I love watching horror movies, hanging out with friends, running, and cooking among other things.If you're an ***hole or you have no personality, you need not apply, I can get that type of interaction at a bar. I'm not looking for something like that. I want someone who can actually engage in an intelligent conversation but isn't so rigid they can't laugh at themselves. I have a sarcastic sense of humor so I'm much more entertained by intellectual type humor than Will Ferrell type humor. I'm pretty outgoing and I can typically handle myself in just about any crowd of people. My pet peeves are bad grammar and people who misquote movies. So if anything in this caught your eye or you're curious to learn more, send me a message. I would rather do something non-traditional and I'm always up for an adventure. Sure, dinner and a movie are great, but you can't talk (at least you're not supposed to) during a movie. I would rather hit up a coffee shop or some where we can walk and talk and get to know each other. Don't you watch the news? The world is full of psychos.
