About Me

I'm often asked what I'm looking for... and I think it's what all women are looking for- an amazing man. Better yet, I can be specific...I want the funny teddy bear type man who makes me feel safe. The down to earth type guy that's not scared to laugh at himself. I want the man who cuts up with the waitress to the point they start to blush, but who's caring enough to stop and help someone stuck on the side of the road on the way home.I want the man who knows balance. He enjoys spending time with me, but not to the point where I feel like he's a suppository. He must be self sufficient and stable, emotionally and otherwise.Above all, he must know that I have two small girls (4 and 6), and they must come first. I haven't dated much because I refuse to bring men in and out of their lives- allowing them to get attached to someone takes a great amount of trust... please be understanding of this.Okay.. have I lost you yet? LolAllow me to tell you a little about myself...I do have one pet peeve: people who spell things incorrectly on purpose (this is no longer "kool").Favorite TV shows are walking dead, sons of anarchy, and greys anatomy. I listen to most music (so long as it's not twangy or whiney- ie: most country.) I'd rather have In This Moment, Tool, Korn, Foo Fighters, a Perfect Circle or System of a Down, even Aerosmith or older.... Even if I have to pull a prank in order to lighten the mood.I've been widowed since November ***Leukemia treatment complications). since then, I've been on a few dates, but have not made the relationship leap.I'm holding out for someone with a few core values: stability, honesty, loyalty, and ability to make me feel safe and loved. (Hmm... someone to make me laugh AND feel safe? Soo, guess that would be a clown ninja? Lol- Basically as I said above, a sense of humor paired with a heavy dose of common sense is a must. Let's just keep things lite and have fun :)Update:I'm not on here because I NEED someone, I'm here because I WANT to find someone. That being said, there are a few things that need to be addressed... Do not contact me if you're just looking for a hookup. Just friends? Sure. No problem. As long as you're HONEST and not some pompous ***hole we should get along well. Don't lie to try to impress women- half the time (or more) we can tell immediately, and you just sound like a jackass.
