About Me

I am currently in graduate school studying Psychology. I hope to someday specialize in Clinical Child Psychology and eventually before a clinical research psychologist. My dream would be to continue to develop and test treatments that increase healthy emotional functioning in childhood. This sort of connects with my fascination with finding what leads people to become sociopaths/psychopaths/serial killers.When I am not reading (or probably procrastinating) I love to be social and spend time going out with friends, dancing, karaoke, trying new restaurants, traveling, pretty much anything new and different, I enjoy trying it.I like dancing to house/industrial/hip-hop, but personally when I have my headphones on, I prefer rock. Classic, Led Zeppelin is my favorite, the Flaming Lips, I love Primus, Rage against the Machine, Passion Pit, Daft Punk. I love love love going to concerts. I love being outside, camping, I love to ski.I studied French in college and lived in Quebec City for a year. I still love anything that has to do with French culture.I have a cat, Purrsley. She is a princess. I am ***friendly. I like watching dumb Tv because it is the opposite of using my brain which is what I do all day, I really prefer to be surprised, I like the guy to plan it and that is a good way to judge if he is right for me. So I would just prefer that it is well thought out. I enjoy trying new things, but I am not crazy into weird foods like belut eggs or caviar, tongue or liver. Otherwise, I am a good sport and enjoy doing festive, seasonal activities outdoors if possible. I get bored so I like to be entertained, and intellectual conversation is best.While I enjoy being surprised, I would at least like to be dressed appropriately. I would appreciate a warning so I don't, for example, wear heels to a picnic :) It must be a public place for safety reasons, do I even have to explain why?

    Hello! I recently finished graduate school and started a job as a family therapist for children. I got my master's degree in child counseling and hope to one day have my own private practice. I also love hip-hop: Jay- I think getting drinks is always a good first date because its casual, you get the chance to talk, there's not set timeline, and no waitress interrupting.
