I run, read, hike, travel, and spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy watching sports, especially football. My goal is to meet a nice, smart, confident, honest woman who knows what she wants and will truly be herself. I don't want to play games or pretend to be something I am not and am looking for the same qualities in a woman. If it doesn't work out, that is ok, but it is better to be honest.I am a native Mobilian who has lived in four different states, and recently returned to Mobile after many, too many, years in the North. It is wonderful to be home with family and friends again. I took a huge pay cut and left a good job to return, but it will work out for the best. I am hard working and determined. I am old fashioned and believe in treating women with respect and courtesy. I enjoy being a gentleman, especially in public. Music... I like almost all types. Right now I am on a country music kick, but I also enjoy rock... I like Irish music also. My ideal first date would be to meet someone for lunch or dinner, and have a chance to talk. Preferably it would be somewhere that we could walk around and talk after eating if we wanted, maybe in downtown Mobile or on the beach.
