About Me

I've been gone for almost 2 years. She was a great woman and I wish her nothing but the best. We didn't work but maybe you and I will!OK I hate trying to 'sell' myself. I'm a writer, and pay the bills in sales. I hope to finish my novel in a month or so. There's more but read below about the kind of person I am, not the stuff that's happened in my life.I'll just say this: I try to be a real man everyday.Now let me tell you what that is. A man is rarely PC, but never offends anyone intentionally, or behaves rudely. He treats everyone with respect and expects the same. He will protect his woman, from harm because that is what men do. He treats her well because he cherishes her and he loves her smile and lives for the sound of her laughter. He is affectionate but not clingy or needy. He wants her to succeed at whatever she sets out to do and will help or sit back in awe and watch...either is just fine. If she falls he'll pick her up, dust her off and encourage her to soar higher this time. He will always treat her with respect and loyalty. He loves to have fun, realizing that life is too short not to laugh. He expects his woman to be feminine, but that does not mean she can't also be tough.....Just not act tough, that is NOT attractive. I real man is never intimidated by YOUR success. He encourages it. He loves your smile and lives for the sound of your laughter. He is not afraid of intimacy, or that his friends will think less of him if he leaves early to be with you, or even skips 'boys night out' sometimes to be with you.He may not do everything like you'd want him to, I love lots of traditional 'male' stuff like motorcycles, fishing, etc. but a real woman understands that 'guys will be guys' she also knows that does NOT mean they will run around on you, ***, flirt with other women etc. It just means men and women are different....thankfully.A real man is kind to others especially children and elderly. He knows when to listen and when to act. He always tries to do the honorable thing. Chivalry is not dead.OK so that's who I try to be everyday. Most of the time I come pretty close.I am a man with a LOT of interests. I like to keep active and enjoy a fantastic group of friends who would welcome you with open arms. I believe a woman is to be cherished (read spoiled). I want to see her smile, hear her laugh and hold her heart. I am busy most of the time....don't worry you can come along if you like or would like to learn about the following. I am writing a novel (almost done and second already in the works) that I hope to have published within the next year. I am also starting a business with a few partners, that should allow me all kinds of time off and the money to do all the the things I ever wanted to do. Now I just need to find someone to enjoy them with me.I am looking for a woman who is fit(I don't expect perfection since I'm not but be able to keep up) and has a spirit of adventure. Please be willing to try new things...and introduce me to your favorite things. Don't get me wrong a quiet evening on the couch is good too. You, Me a good bottle of wine...sounds great. Or maybe its a dinner party with our friends. Life is too full of joys not to want to experience them all. First dates are best for getting to know each other. Something fun that if we decide to can be extended. While I do enjoy the finer things in life, shooting pool and bowling are fun too. Dinner and dancing....why not. Maybe BBQ at my friends restaurant. We'll figure it out
