It's not easy to describe yourself as you always see yourself differently to how others may see you. I like to think that I can be outgoing, spontaneous with a hell of a sense of adventure. I seem to go through periods of working hard where life seems to be nothing but work, eat & sleep but then I get to really appreciate time out to do the fun things I want to, the things I have worked for. I could also be described as quite ambitious and with that comes a degree of tenacity. When I get that bit between my teeth I can be very determined and will not give up easily. As a person, I can be caring, considerate and loving, but I'm not going to lie to you, I'm sure I can have my grumpy moments the same as anybody else therefore mutual tolerance and understanding is important. I am not unfamiliar with chivalry. I prefer to give rather than to receive, my glass is half full and I am a saver rather than a spender. I don't have a particular dress sense just dress for the occasion, black tie, business, casual, gardening etc.I enjoy a variety of things from going out for meals where there is a nice cosy atmosphere to visiting friends on weekends. I like to get in my car and explore Europe with my tent and bbq not knowing where I am going just deciding the route as I go along, though this is not as much fun on your own. Passing over the St. I'm definitely not one for staying in vegetating all the time but it is nice to have quiet nights in with a good bottle of wine and dvd. I am quite an exceptional diy'er so I'm always doing some home improvement so rarely you will find me vegetating on the sofa and never watching football. For me the gym is a waste of energy. I enjoy holidays, near & far, want to do so much more and would be even better if shared with that someone special. I also like scuba diving but it does not dominate my holidays and have learn't to ski this year. As my work life can be planned my free time is not, I like to retain the freedom to be spontaneous and make spur of the moment decisions. I do try to go home to see mum as much as I can and last year I went over for two weeks and stayed for two months so got loads of jobs done for her. I am looking for someone who will be supportive with family as family is important to me and likewise I will reciprocate with your family, we all get old and need help.I am not looking for someone to do my cleaning or ironing as I am very capable of ironing a shirt and cleaning a toilet myself. I don't mind getting my hands dirty and I have no allergies to washing up! I think a couple who can share these chores are so much more likely to get on long term. I can also cook, so multi talented as well.I am looking for a partner in crime who is similiar in many ways but who can also be my better half, someone who is capable of challenging me, behind every successful man is a good woman! As life throws so many up's and down's at us it is important to me to have a partner who is just as supportive when times are difficult as when times are good.
