Ok, I really hate these things where you need to "market" Now that that is over with, here it goes....I am somewhat new to the gay lifestyle. Please don't refer to me as a newbie though, believe me, I have experienced it all! I almost ran screaming from the culture shock that I ran into but over the past few years I have come into my own and acclimated to the Gay Community.If you run into me out somewhere I tend to be a bit quiet and reserved which is unusual seeing I am usually quite extroverted when with friends or at work but I tend to warm up quickly once the conversation starts. I have a nice core group of friends that I am fiercely loyal to (I can provide references).I am at that point in life that I would like to stop the serial dating and find that one someone special to enjoy my time with. I don't need that 100% match because that can be boring. I'd like to find someone to share new experiences with, someone that isn't boring and is willing to put up with me (not that i am too much to handle). Also, I do have children so you will have to share me. In my experience I like to put that up front because I have run into some very selfish guys in the past that couldn't understand that and it has been unfortunate because they are pretty good kids (teens so half the time they would rather hang with friends than dad).Well, that's about it about me, I'm sure there are other things that I could list but I'd like to have something to talk about on our first date! First dates I usually like to leave open ended. You will learn that I am not a planner but a spur of the moment type of guy. Typically I like to do drinks or coffee somewhere in the city after work. This seems to work well because if there is nothing there we can shake hands and part ways without any hurt feelings. If there is something more there and an interest to spend time together there is time for dinner, a nice walk, movie etc....One of my favorite dates started this way. Unfortunately after I found out the guy was completely insane, but a good first date nonetheless!

Hi there and thanks for checking out my profile. I have family here and a support system that works for me. I am open and out to my family and they are very accepting of my being gay: it's not an issue whatsover.I work in Highed Ed fundraising and am currently in grad school as well...Getting my MBA which I expect to complete next April. I am a fun loving, witty and attractive guy who is picky in choosing someone to spend my life with. I've had some success dating but it's been a while since I've been in a long term relationship. If I met the right guy that might change but for now thats my agenda. Don't get me wrong---I'm open to other types but that's what I lean towards. I love preppy clothes ie J Crew and I love to travel and visit new places and meet new people. I love witty conversastion and outgoing folks...I can be quiet at times but I can also be very chatty. I love craft**** I am city gay through and through and not much for liars, rural areas, smoking or fake people. I like to be around people who can find the good in things and project that in the way they live their lives. I drink coffee in the mornings only so this would be limiting. I would say making plans with a guy to meet for drinks and dinner-- where I can really get to know him and what he and I are about and if there is a possible connection.Something like a burger and beers at BRGR or Tessaro's would be great as it's not expensive and on the casual side. I would be ready and excited to learn about someone new and share my life experiences and see how the night progresses from there.
