About Me

I'm not materialistic...I'm the opposite of that...there's more to life than acquiring things and consumerism...that's just my opinion. So...anyhow...I'm also open-minded and tolerant of people, lifestyles, and cultures...it doesn't matter to me what other people do...it's a free country or used to be anyway. I have a lot of self-discipline.....I don't compete anymore...just one of those things I did and moved on...you know? And no I'm not a gym rat...I prefer bike riding, hiking, and walking for enjoyment/exercise...someday I'll go back to weights. I was raised Catholic,but I do not believe in *** religion...I would not be a guy that would go to church with you on Sunday. Also, I'm liberal in many of my views...usually if I want to see a movie I'll rent a flick versus going out to one. I really like to be outdoors, but just not when it's so hot unless there's a way to cool off...like swimming or drinking a cold beer on a patio somewhere. I tend to be frugal in the sense that I don't waste money...I'm economical in my spending of money...not cheap there's a difference. I play a little guitar...sometimes I jam with somebody, but most times I just practice and play at home. I usually take 1 long backpacking trip every year...so it isn't like backpacking is something I do every week or month. I'm basically looking to date, but if I meet a woman and we both connect and are both into each other I would not object to a relationship. I would go to a noncorporate place, local restaurant or pub, that isn't too loud so we can talk and have a drink and get to know each other better.

    Let's face it I'm not getting any younger I'm 40 and longing for that special Someone a little about me I'm a single guy , I love life and redneck to the bone!
